Don’t want AI to summarize your Gmail messages? You can see it anyway. According to the Google Blog Post on Thursday, some users of the Gmail app will soon see the e -infield summary of their emails.
Gmail AI Premium Subscripts paid with workpace accounts and accounts Gmail users will see summaries in the Gmail app on Android and iOS. Earlier, users had to tap the “Summary of this Email” button in the upper part of their phone screen for the AI summary, but now, the summary will still appear. Some users may already see changes, but it may take 15 days to reach all users.
In the AI email summary, Gemini will provide built -in points to all important aspects of the email and update the summary with any of the answers in the email thread. Summary will only be available for emails in English, yet.
According to Google, the summary will occur automatically.
Users can automatically disable AI’s summary, but doing so will also disable other smart features such as high preferred notifications, package tracking, smart composes, smart response and nodes.

Ron Richards, co -host of the Android loyal Podcast, gets “entertaining” Gemini AA email summary.
“How hard is really difficult to read?” Richards told CNET. “We’re all busy, sure, but the time to read the summary, you can just read the email! He said, I can see where it can be helpful for long emails or long threads.”
This is part of Google’s latest project to further talk to consumers with its AI -driven assistant Gemini. Last year, Google views Gmail’s side panels to summarize e -mail threads, help prepare an email draft, look at email threads and other features.
Gemini is also available in Google Documents, Google Sheets, Google Slides and Drive side panels.

With Google integrating AI with more Gmail messages and threads, some are thinking that if their emails are being mined by Gemini, will the privacy of data be at risk? A subdidate called R/Hax Guider raised the question, “Is Google Gemini attacking your privacy by diving you into your gmail and documents?”
Post AI’s “convenience” is surprised that “understands your communication style” and arranges your Google documents, but “Plea Side is quite worrying. Gemini has access to our personal emails and documents, we have to ask how our data is being used for our data.”
In its announcement Thursday, Google said, “Like all our AI features, Gmail is committed to saving user data and preferring privacy.”
Richards of the Android loyal podcast believes that some people do not want AI in their email at all, but it is realistic about the fact that it is here.
“The ship has left,” he said. “And not only from Google, but throughout the industry, from Google to Apple Microsoft.
