A Swedish archaeologist, Greer Jarrett, plays a small cell boot to learn deeply about the Viking trading routes along the Norwegian coast. He traveled it for 5000 km, which led to the identification of the first known ports towards the Norwegian coast, which led to the Vikings searched and used it a thousand years ago. The experimental campaign talked about the maritime trade routes and took them beyond the ground more than they were understood. For a long time, we only knew about the starting and closing points of the commercial journey during the Viking Age.

Viking routes are more wide and decentralized

Greer Jarrett traveled to the Viking Replyika vessel from Sweden’s Lund University and provided a trail -blazing report about Viking Safering after traveling on a boat called Ferring for three years. Jarrett’s work was published on May 8, 2025, in the Journal of Archeology procedures and theory. Research shows that the trading route of the Viking was far more wide, decentralized and beach.

To detect Viking routes by firing

Ferring is a type of cell boot that has a copy with the ORS, used by Vikings to find routes a thousand years ago. Jarrett traveled to the Arctic Circle in the central part of the Norwegian coast and returned. He interviewed sailors and fishermen to find out about the historic sea routes. Jarrett identified four ports on small islands and promoters. The Vikings wandered and sheltered their accessible ports.

    Vikings’ seafood through mental maps

This research brings the idea of seafood through large ports such as Dublin, Rub and Denmark. The Vikings did not use any compass and proceeded with their mental maps with places to meet and share the information, as it was very important for marine success.

    Not excavated for Vikings

Jarrett has not excavated in the ports to stop using the Vikings. Jarrett said that if the team found evidence such as jetty, temporary asylum, cooking pit and gut stone, it would confirm the presence of Vikings through such routes.
