    • A new Bloomberg report states how Apple will change the number of its operating system
    • The change will be to meet the year, so iOS 19 but not iOS 26
    • It is said that this change will also be for iPados, Macos, Wachos, TVOS, and Visionos.

With just 12 days, with an opening key note on June 9, 2025, Apple’s WWDC 2025, with rumors and reports, what Tech Dev can announce about it. Given that this is a developers conference around the world, we are expecting that CEO Tim Cook and many executives will go through us the next generation of the platform.

Until a new report, we expected the next generation of Micros, iOS -19 and iPados 19 with a unique location in California, which gave it a name, and new versions of Wachos, TVOS, and Visionos, all of which are growing from the same number.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gorman, Apple is probably throwing a curve hair and digging the concept of getting the name of the software through the next generation number. The report states that instead of unveiling iOS 18, the successor of iOS 18, Apple will introduce iOS 26.

The report states that “the next Apple operating system will be identified for years instead of version number.” With iOS jumping at 26, it appears that Apple may probably take iPados 26, Macos 26, Wachos 26, TVOS 26, and maybe most surprisingly, Visionos 26. The latter will be the most important jump, because we currently have only vision 2, and the overall vision pro is not an elderly device.

It seems that Apple’s change, at least in this report, is stated, aimed at cleaning some confusion and establishing uniformity in its branding. The new nominee convention is rumor that it is rumored to reach the remote design refresh “Solarium”, which is expected to include each Apple platform-iOS, iPados, Macos, Watchos, Visionos and TVOs.

I am personally passionate about the more transparent design refresh for iPhone software and the rest of the platforms. At least it seems that it will strengthen it again and the whole experience will feel a bit clean. However, this new name -giving convention is slightly more confused for me – it seems that Apple car is taking a point like manufacturers, which has named its software for next year.

It feels a bit confused on the paper, but I’m interested in seeing how Apple describes it on stage. It can also indicate that the historical feature of the delayed AI-powered Siri-Apple Intelligence has not come down to -2026-though this is really a real estate of someone’s arrival.

Apple will not be the first company that jumped with confidence with its names. Samsung jumped from the Galaxy S10 family to the Galaxy S20, and Microsoft has tried for a few years, then the number of genocide has changed.

New strategies to nominate for iOS, IPADOS, MacOS, TVOS, Wachos, and Visionos, though, will not be the only news or changes. We are expected to have a dedicated gaming app capacity for the iPhone, iPad, and Mac, a re -designed translation app, and the Apple Intelligence feature set for the iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Of course, all of this should be taken with salt grain now, but we will report directly from Capetino on June 9, 2025, so that Apple has announced in WWDC 2025 – so keep with Tech Radar.
