    • A Galaxy S33 Ultra spent five hours under water in the frozen Arctic River and still worked completely.
    • The phone’s IP68 rating does not cover the terms, which is more surprising to survival.
    • It follows the recent story of a Pixel 8 that ends up in a hot tub for four days and has come out without hiding.

Most of us are afraid to dig or fall into the sink, leave the ice -covered Arctic river. But a Samsung Galaxy S33 Ultra just removed it and gained the strength as if nothing had happened.

According to Samsung NewsroomSwedish Wilden’s Guide Michael Creela was out on the frozen Calix when his Galaxy S33 ultra slipped from his glove and fell into an ice fashion hole. It drowned in a frozen water near three meters and trapped under the ice for the next five hours.

Playing not to give up, Michael digs several new holes in the nearby ice and prepared a series of tools – in which Birch branches, a plastic bag, and eventually the fishing net is connected to a stick – to try and get it out. After hours of effort, he finally succeeded. With its trauma, the phone immediately moved forward, showing some miss calls as everything is quite common.

Five hours after five hours, Michael Curicola rescued his Galaxy S33 ultra from the Arctic River.

The S33 ultra is ranked IP68, which means it is officially protected from dust and can survive up to 1.5 meters of fresh water for 30 minutes. But the Arctic conditions, more depth and underwater are more than five hours that promises the galaxy sheet.

This is not the only phone that has recently shook the elements. Just two weeks ago, a pixel 8 who spent four days drowned in a hot tub was still doing well. In both cases, the phones denied their rating in extreme circumstances.

For Michelle, whose phone is a lifeline in remote Arctic for navigation, translation and night photography, the whole thing was a wake -up call. Now he has added a fishing net to his winter kit.
