Sony is allegedly returning with the Games Show case next month. The offer is likely that the game will be a game broadcast rather than a showcase. The last state of Play Showcase was in February, where the parents of the PlayStation revealed the service, which is the first party action game from the Housemark.
Sony is planning Games Showcase Event for June
This information came from the giant bomb Jeff Grub, who reported in February that Sony was unannounced between hosting a full -length play station showcase and the condition of play presentation this summer. On Thursday, on the latest incident of the Game Morning Podcast, Grub said the company is planning to host the Games presentation in June. According to him, Sony has decided to broadcast sports rather than potentially proper showcase.
Grubb said he had not heard about any Sony event in May because “something was happening in June.”
He said, “They are doing something in June. Now is it going to be a huge showcase? I don’t think so. I said a few months ago that I heard that they were going back and forth about the state of the game.
However, Gurbab claimed that he did not fully believe, but next month, he was leaning towards broadcasting.
“I’m not 100 % about this aspect – this is probably a game, though – but I’ve heard in June.”
What to expect from the state of the game
The state game events are low and largely third -party announcements as well as some updates in the first party lineup. In the last state of the game in February, third -party games such as Mindsi, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake eaters and Anniva maize received trailers. However, Sony showed the next game from the Returning Developer House Mark.
On the other hand, the PlayStation showcase is huge in the circle and focuses on the first party announcements. The showcase is usually held annually, while the State of Play Broadcast is three to four times a year. The last showcase of the play station, however, took place in 2023. Sony left the event in 2024 and it seems that the company can do so again in 2025.
However, the company should have enough content to display in a program next month. Several PlayStation Studios of the First Party are working on their next project. Some of them have already been announced-the shadowy dog is working on the Integalctic: Harrotic prophet and another unannounced title, working on the indifference games Wolverine and Susseer Panch, in October 2025, is ready to launch the ghost of Sushma’s follow-up, UT’s past.
Enamyanak has maintained radio silence on Wolverine since it revealed the game in 2021. An announcement can be made about the superhero title at the next month’s offer. God of War Developer Santa Monica has not revealed her next project, but Gurbab reported in March that the studio series is working on the spin of the “side story project” based in Greek myths, which could be launched later this year.
On the podcast, Gerb suggested that Sony may be ready for a major announcement.
Grab said, “They are being protected a lot. Just getting the details that something is happening in June has been difficult since then, so it makes me feel that they are hiding some things, though this is pure speculation.”
