Space X successfully launched a new Falcon 9 booster rocket on May 20 and marked the 60th Falcon 9 flight of 2025. In this rocket, 23 starlink V2 mini satellite is low in the orbit of the ground. Among them, 13 are directly featured towards cell capabilities. In fact, it was targeting the EDT at 11:58 pm for the launch (0358 UTC on May 20), but the effort was terminated just before the elevator off because the company did not immediately explain. This was finally launched on Tuesday (May 20) at 11:00 pm 15 minutes (0319 GMT) at the Florida’s Cape Canvaled Space Force Station from the Space Launch Complex 40.

    About the launch

According to the mission review of Space X, it was the first time for the first phase of this particular Falcon 9 (Booster B 1095). Although recent Space X missions have reused Falcon 9 boosters, which is a signing part of the company’s cost savings and stability strategy, Tuesday flight began in the first phase.

The rocket successfully completed its initial mission, separating from the upper stage for two and a half minutes after the elevator off. About eight minutes later, the Booster made a precise landing on the Space X drone ship “Bus Instructions” stationed in the Atlantic. This smooth recovery sets the stage for the future reuse of the rocket.

    Technical development

13 of the 23 satellites of the ship were developed directly with cell technology-this feature that is designed to enable satellite contact directly to mobile phones, especially in areas that have lack of infrastructure. After arriving at the place, about 65 minutes after the launch of the rocket, a short engine was burned to circulate the orbit before deploying the satellite.

The starlink is the largest satellite megakon stations so far, which currently includes about 7,500 operational satellite. And that number is increasing all the time, as Tuesday’s action shows.
