How do you see the smart projector market growing in India over the next 5 years? And what will you do in this development?
In the market for smart projectors, the only home projector is currently growing. Data projectors and B2B projector markets are stable. However, the domestic projector is increasing at a rapid rate. The reason behind this is that the way people’s content has changed, and at the same time, projector technology has also made major changes. Earlier, there were many limits for the use of projectors at home, including a dark large room, white projection screen, short lamps life, and complex installation.
The traditional negatives of the projectors there are no longer there. Due to the development of technology, all these boundaries have been overcome. Now the projector’s life is also increasing. It’s about 30,000 hours. In such a situation, if you use the projector for 5 hours a day, your project will continue for 10 to 15 years.
Currently, most people, especially high -net worth (HNI), prefer to look at the material at home instead of going to multiplex. These people are spending money on making their home multiplex.
We are leading players in the projector market in India, and our overall market share is close to 50 %. Our market share in the 4K projector segment is about 42-43 %, and it is about 51 % in the portable projector segment. We estimate that the Home Entertainment Projector Market will continue to increase at 20-25 % year by year. At this rate, the market can almost double over the next three to four years.
India is a sensitive but still passionate market for many players. How does the bank plan to balance perseverance with premium innovations here?
I am sure that India is not a price -sensitive market, but a value -powered. Indian consumers prefer only price higher than the price. We are also a value -based brand, and the price we offer in our price range is best in the market. That is why we are market leaders. Our products are not cheap, but the value we provide at our prices is unparalleled by another competitive brand. When it comes to cheap, we offer a lot of products that meet different prices, making sure that consumers can choose their own price.
What will happen in terms of image quality and performance, with the rise of 4K and laser projection? And how are you integrating AI into the projector?
The new feature that you are seeing in the quality of the image is 100 % DCI-P3, which is found in professional grade cinema. We have implemented this 100 D DCI-P3 in our new projectors, W5850 and W4100I, so you can now enjoy professional grade cinema quality at home. A few years ago, it was impossible to experience the quality and color of such an image at home, but we made it possible.

The next big thing you will see in commercial cinema is the rack. 2020. This is a new standard upgrade for commercial theaters. We launched a laser TV projector some time ago, which meets 95 % of the rack. 2020 standard.
As far as the AI is concerned with the projectors, we have begun to integrate the AI into our new projectors. You will experience it in W5850 and W4100i. AI takes your image performance to the next level. Through AI, the projector automatically reads the light conditions and adjusts the quality of the image in real time, increasing the brightness and color according to the environment. In addition, you can enjoy AI cinema mode in our new projects.
How is the Bank Indian project in the market compared to local and global rivals?
There is a global competition in this class, but we are proud to be a market leader and they are doing very well. In our company, we believe in setting up trends rather than following them. For example, with our W5850 and the W4100I projector, we introduced the latest technology to AI cinema bringling cutting. We always strive to be the first person to provide modern innovations in the projector class for our customers.
Which area is the largest market in India for the interconnection of projector, and where are you seeing the most sales?
In India, we are seeing the most demand for projectors in the south and western regions. There is a clear demand in the south and the west than the north and the east. The main reason for this is that people in these areas are more excited about movies and content. They enjoy watching content on the big screen. Mumbai, being the center of Bollywood, is an important market for us. The size of the houses in Mumbai may be relatively small, but the passion of the cinema keeps this demand. In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, people are very excited about movies, and with houses being more spacious, we are also seeing good demands from these areas.
