Apple can soon offer iPhone users in Europe to dig Siri for third -party smart assistants. According to Bloomberg, the company is preparing to allow the Digital Markets Act and the Digital Services Act.
This is the latest development and another essential need is to meet Apple to continue sales of iPhones in Europe. The reason for the European Union’s rules was that Apple had to change the electricity to USB-C charging and data connectivity, as the European Commission has ordered that all Apple devices sold after the autumn 2024 need to keep this charging port.
It seems that Siri is the latest “victim” of EU regulations, but some people may find a happy change, as Apple’s own Smart Assistant Google Assistant, Gemini, or AI Chat Boats, such as Chat GPT and Deep Seconds, still have features and functions.
In fact, Apple allows users to ask Siri to help with chatigat, but changes to the latest principle in the European Union can completely eliminate this extra move, at least for iPhone users in Europe.
So far there is no solid time frame for change, so the European Union may have to put some pressure on Apple, as was the case with the USB-C port switch. However, it seems that Apple is already preparing for this change – according to Bloomberg information, the company is working on technical details to allow change.
Earlier this year, Apple agreed to pay $ 95 million for a court case, alleging that Siri was listening to people without their permission.

Last customer’s More More choice is always better, at least it’s our thing. Apple will try to fight this hard and keep people in its ecosystem, but the news reacts have not been in favor of Siri.
Many people are waiting for a change in Europe, and US iPhone users are urging Apple to do the same locally. It seems that when it comes to Siri’s features and Apple intelligence, Apple is on the back foot, because many utility is still in the beta, development or postponement.
The option to allow people to choose their default smart assistant can make consumers even more difficult for Siri Mrs and Apple. What do you think about it? If the option was available, would you choose another voice assistant on your iPhone?
