    Robert Triggs / Android Authority

Content 3 expression is beautiful – I get it. This fluid is responsible, and when I see my phone, I want a modern interface. But as Google explained all the tasks that come to make this beautiful design, as well as the process of updating all its apps of its match, my mind kept roaming on a thought: but why? Why not wasting time to waste time is not broken instead to add the desired features for years?

I think I’ve been a bit shock after following the mobile industry for almost two decades. But when I see a fast new design, I don’t think, “Wow, beautiful,” I just go through every active improvement and bug fix list that I have instead. Give me the proper addition and features that will make my everyday life easier instead of spending countless hours, which already prepare and prepare a fresh coat of paint for the advanced interface.

So here’s a list of 10 features about which I would like to express content 3 on my Android phone. I am laying victory in the backyard of my house if any of them was implemented in exchange for converting the tabs below to the tabbar, and no, I do not believe I have to write the last few words.

    Mark the Gmail Notification Marks

C Scott Brown / Android Authority

    Insert a long, intermittent breath.

Do I need to explain it? Gmail pops a notification for a new email on Android, you check it out, and you work with it without the need to open the full email. It would be nice to just tap “Mark as Mark”, OK? You can do this in the Gmail app on iOS, but not on Android. No, Android gets deleted/reserved documents and answers. I can’t believe that we should use third party apps to bring such a basic thing to our phones.

Easy way to enter events in the calendar

Whenever I open a Google Calendar on my phone or on the web to enter a new event, I start typing something like a “8pm dinner tomorrow”, just to realize that Google doesn’t act on the natural language. No, instead, I have to tap to select the date and time separately and adjust them manually.

This is amazing, especially when third -party work and calendar apps are already offered. Samsung calendar (top middle screenshot), Todoast (left screenshot), Tuck Tuck, and Business Calendar 2, to say some names, can all. Then why not a Google Calendar?

Finding videos within the YouTube channel

Rita El Khuri / Android Authority

Not all YouTube channels and videos are made equal. Often, when I look for a product recommendation or review, I have a list of channels that I want to check first because I trust them. On the web, I can easily open the YouTube channel page and find its videos. So if I’m looking for a new robot mover in France, I can see if Avis Express Anyone has been reviewed, and if I want a new pair of exercise buds, I can check what sound guys recommend. Or, you know, I can check myself Android Authority Channel for the latest smart watch or phone studies.

Unfortunately, this is not a feature of YouTube on mobile. No, instead, we do not find 20 new indicator changes every year, a newly designed popup player, more shorts on our home screens, 500 new designs of the comments section, but within a channel. Or, as we have recently asked them, there is no block channel option and there is no way to manage subscriptions through folders.

Make a full folder offline in the drive

Rita El Khuri / Android Authority

When I intend to travel, I throw all reservation documents in a Google Drive folder. My airplane/train tickets, hotel verification, car rentals if needed, and all the activities I have booked for travel. When the time comes to travel, I have to go and download them all on my phone to ensure that if my internet leaves me, I can access them.

You can download both individual files and make them offline, but there is no option for folders. At least not on mobile. I am sure that the company that made Gemini can find a way to download the entire folder instead of single files.

Appropriate height information for directions of running in Google Maps

Rita El Khuri / Android Authority

A 10 -minute hiking on the flat region, Manilmontant, is not like a top track through Google. (“Montent” means growing, it is literally.) So when I demand the direction of walking in the maps, I want to know what the walk will include. Even if this is just a slight height difference, I, a person of asthma, want to know that. I am convinced that older people, pregnant women, and those who are involved in transportation will also love to know it. Instead, what I have seen in the maps is a “most flat” detail, even when there is a clear notice of the stairs. But am I going to the stairs or under them, Google? No idea

I am tired of watching the street view for some of my seizures to try to estimate the street height. And forbid heaven that I use mixed directions, such as Transit + Walking – Just forget about it! This may be a 20 -minute journey after my metro stop, and the maps will not warn me. No, I have to look for a walk individually to ensure that this will not be a war.

I can write books about everything that bothers me in Google’s maps, like the fact that I can’t add multiple stops when using transit, or find a placement of a place on the go (I will have to finish the navigation to see a place details, but I don’t find my instructions, but I do not look at it. But there is a attention.

Bluetooth support to find my device’s Bluetooth tracker

Rita El Khuri / Android Authority

Look, I know how stupid it looks, but I swear that it’s true. If you find my device tracker according to Google, you can’t actually track or find more than Bluetooth. Find the whole my device app – find the hub now – if you are in offline or plane mode, you won’t load, make nearby tracking and if you are traveling or find useless in a bad cell signal area.

This is a problem with every tracker I have experienced. On the other hand, when your phone is offline, Samsung’s Galaxy Smart Tag 2 can be located on Bluetooth, and as well as trackers and air tags on iPhones. The next time I lose my purse at a foreign airport, I am sure I will appreciate being able to find more than I will appreciate Nifty Animation that opens on an empty Find Hub app screen.

    Better routines in Google Home

Can anyone understand that home and far -reaching routines at Google Home can only control lights? They can’t keep my thermostatis in a distant mood, can’t start my robot vacuum, close the TV, or lock my door.

My Air Purefire supports all these methodsBut not in customs routinesSo I work around by writing voice orders

Even custom routines are so limited (unless you want to double the DEB of your routine writing in the code creator). For example, although my switch boot is at the level of different ways in the Air Purefire Home app, I can just set it on/off with routines. I can’t easily lift the mood in which it goes. So I resorted to using a written sound command to do so. Why not levels all the commands and variables available in the routine selector? I don’t know

More basic customs of Pixel Launcher

Rita El Khuri / Android Authority

My fellow Andy Walker did a better job to explain the basic features missing from the Pixel Launcher, but to me, it comes to some essential supplies. Let me move Google Search and change the widget at a glance, give me more grid size options because 5 × 5 on a large display is not enough, and let me stack the widget. Only these three additions will take me to the Pixel Launcher to new heights, but if I have to choose only one, I will give everything for the 6 × 5 app grid. Just like that.

This long list of Google Photos improvement

Rita El Khuri / Android Authority

I tried to limit the list of my pictures to just a significant change, but the fact is that I want to include a group of modest but practical improvements to the app.

I would like to be able to download multiple photos on my phone instead of doing this one by one, just as I would still like to save storage space and delete the original motion photos that exporting pictures. I would like to change the grid size in albums to see the high density of photos, and everything love i, I would love to see a search filter that tighten photoshis so that I browse similar pictures and quickly trim my gallery.

None of these improvements will make my daily use of Google Photo more efficient. A new floating will not be down.

    Per App Volume Control

This allows I keep Chrome silent forever, but change the volume of spataf and YouTube to 70 %, while keeping the WhatsApp volume up to 50 % of your mother’s voice messages properly – each time I go out of an app or go out without the volume but not buttons.

    Bonus: Just stop walking things

    Jimmy Westonberg / Android Authority

With every new Android version, I have to set up a list of questions from my family members and friends, “Why did this change?” Or, “Where did it go?”

I don’t know, mom; I do not know why the power button does not turn off the phone or why WiFi and Data Quick Setting Toggle are now bundled that a simple tap cannot be closed. I do not know why the memories and sharing tabs moved a million times inside Google Photos, and why the app designers want to hide and search with albums and trash buttons.

I don’t know why Gmail continues to try to add new buttons to the tab of your bottom without any reason, or why Google Matt was asking me to use Google Matt (new) instead of Google Mate. I have lost the track of millions of ways to access Google Assistant/Gemini settings, and I do not know why there are two different sets of settings for these things.

I wish there was an administrative position in Google whose only job is to ask, ‘What do we?’ Instead of ‘can we do?’

I wish Google had a voice position anywhere in the administrative management, whose only job was to shut down such meaningless changes. Someone who asks “Do we want?” “Can we do?” Each time a designer or engineer recommends a new icon, border, font, animation, or other minimal changes. Someone who aims to keep the experience permanent in apps and years, so I do not need to re -education my father how to update every Google phone app or a call with my aunt on how to close the data with every new Android version.

But alas, Google will always make the privilege to change things around existing features, make perfect and launch new things instead of bug sches. So we get an expression of content 3-which I like, do not misunderstand me-but not essential reforms and non-sexual features we have been waiting for since 2010.

Here is another decade of desire for the “Read as Mark” in Gmail notification.
