During the Android show, Google formally lifted curtains on the Matrical 3 Expressive, the next step of aesthetics designed for Android 16. The new shape is just a part of Google’s move to make Android and wear OS live and weakness, and even when you use it, you seek emotions.
For context, the last major design change with Android was Android 12 and the content was with you about four years ago. With the expression of material 3, it is based on the material design foundation and spreads on the original design philosophy. Google also conducted a lot of research in this refresh, as it is the result of 46 global studies, hundreds of design variations, and kept the insights of more than 18,000 participants.
But did all this research work? Well, we asked readers what they thought, and so far, it seems that it is definitely paying.
What do you think about Google’s content 3 expression design for Android?
We actually polled readers on their initial comments on May 13, and we just received more than 5,800 votes (and counting!) In just a few days. It is quite clear that many people are excited about the expression of content 3.
So far, a total of 56 % replied that they were in love with it and welcome these changes. About 36 36 % said they would make their mind after using first, and only 8 % voted that they like the current design and do not want changes.
Although Google has announced the Materials 3 Expressive and we have seen some indications in Android 16 beta 4, do not expect that once Android arrives on June 16, do not expect to see it immediately. Google plans to express the first content 3 on Pixel devices, including the Pixel Watch. Other OEMS IT, it will end after the pixel, and we can expect the design elements of 3 expressions of materials connected with other brands customized Android skins.
There are many new things coming in the content 3. Some of these new changes include better dynamic images and motion physics, dynamic and personal color themes, latest type, new forms for app icons and other interface elements. System UI aspects have also been improved, such as new Quick Setting Panels, such as the effects of more fading, and even direct updates.
But this is not all good news. Reader Geraldgro has noted that parts of material design that use propaganda, thin lines and less contrary can be difficult for the older people who have difficulty watching. It is important to ensure that consumers are still able to control the thickness and vice versa for leakage purposes. Other readers, such as Gakurak 11 and Menig 3 RD, are not large on new fonts or colors respectively.
However, for most parts, it seems that the material 3 is resonating well with our readers and fans. We have just got a glimpse of the coming, but if you have a pixel phone, tablet, or watch, it is coming soon instead.
