    Samsung w 24 flip

Samsung’s global lineup has always been bigger than the range seen in the United States. Over the years, some of its most interesting, exciting, or simply simple entertainment devices have been placed elsewhere, often by design. From luxury foldable to engineering experiences, here are the best Samsung phones that have never officially made it.

    1. Samsung w24/ w24 flip (2023)

Samsung W 24 and W22 Philip Press Image

Ever wondered what a billionaire phone would be? The Samsung W 24 and W22 were the highly premium versions of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Philip 5, which were specially manufactured for the Chinese market. These devices increased the standard foldable experience with luxury materials such as ceramic back and gold trim. With 16 GB Ram and 1TB storage, the W24 price was about CNY 15,999 (about $ 2,198), while the W24’s Pulut offered around 12GB Ram and 512GB storage around CNY 9,999 (approximately $ 1,374 dollars).

Although the basic hardware is associated with its global counterparts, which is characterized by Snapdragon 8 General 2 for the Galaxy Chip and similar camera setup, the W24 series is different thanks to its special design elements. They were straight .. and Samsung saved them only for selected markets.

    2. Samsung quantum 2 (2021)

The Galaxy A82, known as the Galaxy Quantum 2 in South Korea, was one of Samsung’s alien experiences – and at the same time was a surprisingly powerful phone. It packaged a 64MP main camera with Snapdragon 855 Plus chip, a 120Hz ammunition display, and optical image stabilization, which is currently the flagship compared to most A-series devices.

What made A82 separated, though, his quantum random number generator was chip. Samsung marketing it as a promotion for security -related users, which offers better protection for apps such as banking, messaging, and verification. It was a strange idea, even if it was difficult to note the practical benefits. The phone was launched in South Korea for KRW 699,600 (about $ 622). Outside Korea, A82 has never seen a wider release. This is a shame, because under marketing tricks, it was a well -built, high -speaking device that could give us an interesting alternative to buyers more expensive flagships.

    3. Galaxy W2016 (2015)

Before the modern era of Foldables began, Samsung was already combining old memories and luxury with devices like the Galaxy W 2016. This high -level flip phone runs a complete version of Android, which is complete with a double 3.9 -inch touch screens, T9 physical cape, and a sleek design made of glass and metal. It looked like a classic clam shell from the outside, but under the hood, it had a hardware compared to the Galaxy S6, including the Samsung Xenos processor and 16 MP camera.

The W2016 launched exclusively in China at a heavy price, allegedly around CNY 9,999, or about $ 1,570. It will be about $ 2,100 in today’s money. It was never for a massive market appeal. Instead, he presented to a talented group of buyers who wanted the dignity of the phone to the traditional flip without abandoning the features of the modern smartphone. For our customers, it was a foreign curiosity.

    4. Galaxy A 80 (2019)

The Galaxy A80 looked like Samsung was proving that it could still innovate with its phone. Instead of a mark or cartoon hole camera, A80 used a smart slider and flip mechanism: the back -up camera popped up and rotated for selfies, making it a 6.7 -inch OLED display completely uninterrupted. The triple camera setup included 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra -wide lens, and a 3D depth sensor – all of them double duty for selfies and regular shots.

Beyond the standout design, A80 offered Snapdragon 730 chip, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, and 25W fast charging. However, it lacked the favorite features of two fans that would end with high -end phones: a microSD card slot and 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone was launched by the UK retailers at about $ 616 (about $ 780), making it more expensive than its siblings, Galaxy A70. Although questions about long -term stability have arisen on the Philip mechanism, A80 is one of Samsung’s courageous designs that have never been officially landed in the United States.

    5. Galaxy M51 (2020)

    Samsung Galaxy M51 Official

The Galaxy M51 was not shiny, but it was a midwife monster where it counts: battery life. Samsung tied a large battery of 7,000 MAh from the inside, which caused the company to put it on the phone. It also added the Snapdragon 730G chip with 6.7 inch AMOLED display and 25W fast charging. It took about two hours in a full top -up, but M51 provided endurance that most phones can only dream.

The device also introduced a quad camera setup, including a 64 MP main sensor, and has kept himself in the general performance tests. Although it was not officially sold in the United States, it could easily find a house in buyers who preferred practical sunglasses over brightly excessive items.

    6. Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE (2024)

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition had a premium repetition of its foldable lineup of the phone, which was specifically launched in South Korea and China. This model stands with its thin and light design, when the measurement is only 10.6 mm thick when the joints and weights are 236 grams, making it more portable than its standard counterpart.

The device contains an 8 -inch main display and a 6.5 -inch core screen, which is slightly larger than the regular Z -Fold 6. One of the main upgrades was 200 MP Main Camera, with a 50 MP sensor found in the standard model. Under the hood, he placed a snap dragon 8 general 3 for the Galaxy processor, which was made with 16GB Ram and 512 GB storage. However, to get its sleek profile, Samsung quit supporting the Sen.

At the cost of about KRW 2,789,600 (about 0 2,035), the special edition presented a combination of performance and immunity, though it was out of the way many people were out of the way due to its limited regional availability.

Which of these Samsung phones would you like to sell in the US?

    Honorable mention

We were surprised to find out how many phones Samsung had stopped from the United States in the past years, sometimes because they were designed for certain areas and sometimes because they were a bit unusual. Beyond that we have already highlighted, there was a lot, from uneven x -core models to other battery monsters such as Galaxy F62 or Tusin -powered Galaxy Z3.

Here are some other interesting examples that deserve their heads.

    Zoom of Samsung Galaxy (2014)

Galaxy’s zoom part was a smartphone and part -point and shoot camera. It packs a 10x optical zoom lens that is physically more than the body, making it a pocket friendly but less than real. It was one of Samsung’s most worse experience, though he never made the United States officially.

    Samsung Galaxy A55 (2024)

Galaxy A55 offered metal frames, solid performance and a beautiful display – especially the type of midfall phone that is usually well sold in the United States. However, Samsung broke his sample except the US launch, and left buyers on the popular A54 without any natural successor.

Samsung Galaxy Beam and Beam 2 (2012/2014)

Need a built -in projector in your phone? Samsung thought you could have. Galaxy beam can present series videos and presentations on the wall. It was not a seller at all, but it was one of Samsung’s most fascinating strange ideas and was one who never took out of Asia.

Were there any other interesting Samsung phones that you once monitored, but never got a chance to buy in the US? Tell us in the comments.
