Today Motorola made the Moto G (2026) and Moto G Play (2026) official in North America.
The new Moto G is powered by MediaTek’s Dimension 6300 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. A 5,200 mAh battery keeps it going, and recharges up to 30W.

The main camera is 50MP, while the selfie snapper is 32MP. There is also a macro camera. The screen is 6.7″, has a 120Hz refresh rate, goes up to a thousand nits in high brightness mode, and has Gorilla Glass 3. The phone is rated for dust and splash resistance. The Moto G will be available in Pantone Slipstream and Pantone Catelia Orchid. It runs 16 out of the box.

The Moto G Play (2026) is identical, save for the 32MP main camera, 8MP selfie camera, and 18W maximum charging. It will be available in Pantone Tapestry. All finishes are leather-like.
