The Vivo X300 series is off to a strong start – last week’s survey saw the two new models receive mostly positive results. There’s still the question of a global launch timeframe and pricing — the official launch is slated for later this month, so expect more details next week.
The Vivo X300 Pro got the thumbs up from over a third of voters. We’re still working on a full review, but we have a review with both the X300 and X300 Pro, complete with plenty of camera samples, so you can check it out—about 14% of voters can tip the pro if it gets good reviews.
About half of voters are looking at different flagships – the good news for Vivo is that many of them prefer the smaller X300, while others won’t stick around until they see that the Vivo X300 Ultra is up to par. As good as the Pro camera is, the Ultra camera should be top-tier.
Speaking of the smaller Vivo X300, it’s also proving quite popular. Yes, some would rather be a big supporter. However, few people will bother waiting for the cheaper Vivo X300 Pro. There are some smaller flagships around, notably from Apple, Samsung and Google, but not many, so the X300 has a better chance of standing out than its pro sibling (there’s no shortage of ~6.7″ flagships).

Reviewers appreciated the larger batteries and that Vivo finally switched to USB 3.2 for the Type-C port. In terms of criticism, the smaller X300 could have a larger camera sensor – the iPhone 17 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro all have 1/1.3” sensors, while Vivo went with a slightly smaller 1/1.4” sensor.
Stay tuned for in-depth reviews of the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro.
