Oppo took the wraps off its Find X9 series today and we managed to get our hands on a Find X9 unit after the event. While we haven’t gotten to perform our usual tests and benchmarks yet, we did get to use the device for a short period of time, and these are our first impressions.
Find X9 feels great. Oppo really nailed the cool and premium feel with the aluminum frame fit and finish, while the matte glass back feels smooth to the touch and prevents fingerprints from forming.

There are three colors to choose from with Titanium Grey, Space Black and Velvet Red. The red is quite an eye-catcher, as you can see in the photos below, and is our favorite color of the bunch.
At 7.99mm and 203g, the Find X9 isn’t the thinnest phone we’ve seen but it certainly feels solid. The buttons are pretty cool, and you’ll also see the new customizable snap key, Oppo’s take on Apple’s action button.

The 6.59-inch flat OLED screen is the same size as last year’s Find X8, but the 1.15mm thin bezels give the illusion of holding an even bigger screen. It’s quite bright and offers a 1-120Hz variable refresh rate like you’d expect from an Android flagship in 2025.

Around the back, we find a trio of 50mp cameras. The main one uses the same LYT-808 sensor found on last year’s Find X8 Pro. You also get a 73mm equivalent periscope with 3x optical zoom, which is reused from the FIND X8, and a 15mm ultra-wide module.
This year’s model also gets a new 9-channel multispectral sensor, which Oppo calls a true color camera.
Rounding out the specs, the phone is equipped with 12/16GB of RAM as well as MediaTek’s Dimension 9500 and up to 1TB of storage. You also get IP66, IP68, and IP69 ingress protection and a beefed-up 7,025mAh silicon carbon anode battery, which should provide plenty of run time.
The software side is covered by the all-new Colors 16 based on Android 16.

OPPO has already confirmed that the X9 and X9 Pro will get their global launch later this month where we will learn its international pricing.
We also have the X9 Pro in Pro Inno with original camera samples for a review article and an early look at its optional Hassled Professional Teleconverter Kit.
