Philips I9000 Electric Schver: Two -minute Review

Before I sprayed Philips I9000 Electric Shaver, I was offering a typical $ 35 / £ 30 that I picked up in Amazon. The price of a premium model 10x was a painful idea, but not as painful as I have experienced with cheap models, so I went for it. (By the way, Amazon’s shaver had a more 4.5 -star average rating than hundreds of users studies, many of which are clearly fake. It is at risk of relying on unknown user studies.)

Six months later, my face is still thanking me that I spent extra on Philips I9000, especially for sales price 50 %, which made the base model close to $ 300 / £ 230. – It also feels great in the hand.

This is the first electrical razor I used with pressure indicators, which is a real useful feature: If the shaver illuminates the green color, you are applying the right amount of pressure, if you are very soft in blue, while orange is very difficult. I have generally found that following the pressure indicator provides an efficient shaved to minimize irritation – this feature is not a trick.

Battery life is also decent. On average shaving i, I see a 3 % reduction in battery life on the digital display, and it’s also six months below the line. I would say that the I9000 recharge is good for 30 shoulders before the need, which provides the USB-A charging base from the Philips wall (a minor complaint is that the USB-C will be much easier for travel).

The razor is a waterproof so he can handle wet and dry shoulders, while the trimmer turning down the razor is a reasonable solution to clean the edges and precise deductions of the beard, which I do regularly (and to deal with wandering nose / ear hair).

I think that the heads of the I9000 have slowly lost some of their effects in 6 months, but they still cut fine, just with a little extra effort from the first day. According to Philips’s advice, the heads of change are available for a lot of irrational prices, but I suspect I need my change annually instead of every two years, as Philips have stated.

Don’t buy any user reviews on the brand site about I9000, which is far closer than shaving the proper wet with a safety razor – this is not just true. If you want to shave the closest, with less reminded hair, the old school is a way. However, I am very happy with I9000. I could not turn into a wet shaving since then, which was certainly not when I was using this cheap alternative.

With Philips 9000 Series you really get more of your money More, and since I’ve made a switch – for my money, it is one of the best electric razors in the market.

Philips I9000 Electric Shaver: Price and Availability

    • List price is 0 240 / £ 479.99 / AU $ 600
    • On regular sales at a price less than half of the list in the UK
    • Alternative heads are available

I am not sure that anyone in their right brain will buy Philips I9000 at the full price, but thankfully it is always available for less than half the price of the list, which is imitation. At the time of writing, I see the shaver on the Philips site in 0 240 / £ 225. Nevertheless, I would hardly call it a wonderful price, but then you have the best experience that is competing against a common sub -$ 45 / £ 35 model.

The heads of change are available at the Philips site at $ 65 / £ 40 / AU $ 106 – potentially different prices in independent stocks. The guidance is to change the heads every two years, but on my experience, I think every year that 6 months of use has reduced a slight reduction in performance. The product comes with a 5 -year service warranty.

Philips I9000 Electric Schver Review: Design

    • Aergonomic Handle and Handy Pressure LED indicators
    • Pop -up trimmer for edges, or dedicated head of the beard
    • Charge dock and difficult case for travel, but the latter only fits in the razor

From the Aergonomic Handle to Forty heads and digital display plus LEDs, I9000 has a premium shaving experience. Rightly, how expensive it is.

I do not have any real complaint in any sector: All three ends have packed Philips under the name of Triple Action Lift and is completely cut to the skin level of 0.00 mm, with the risk of cutting the skin with wet shaves-you are sure to get a closer look at the hair.

The shaver shaver connects the LED light color around the head base. With shaver active, they emit LED blue light if your pressure is very soft, orange and green for severe pressure.

Below, a small non -touch color screen shows battery life and cycle by features such as features such as features. I will be honest, I didn’t see the shaver with my phone and the app to discover the app, which Philips says, providing you ‘real -time guidance and personalized vision’ insights’ will provide ‘a better routine and technique’ to help you feel your best every day.

There is a pop -up trimmer on the under side of the shaver, which is very basic but works well to quickly clean the beard edges. If this is the basic task, the main head can be removed by the beard with a proper tramor, which is more powerful and efficient.

In practice, I want to see a USB-C port that will make it easier than dragging the charging base, which uses a proprietary shaver connector on a trip. Although Philips provides a harsh journey for Shaver, it will only fit the razor, nor is the shaver or the trummer heads.

    Philip I9000 Electric Schver: Performance

    • Monday of 30 from a full charge
    • Triple Flaxing Shaver Head and Trummer Options
    • Minor pop -up trimmer

Pricey Philips is in a cut back charging department compared to S9000 dignity-I9000 only includes proprietary shaver connector (USB-A), while the dignity model offers easy wireless charging.

Nevertheless, a full charge should be supplied close to 30, so once you come back from getting away, keeping the shaver in the dock is not a real problem. And it will also be charged quickly – in just 5 minutes the power lion comes back, or it has an hour to completely juice.

Two heads are provided with the razor: The triple elastic head of the Philips is 360 degrees precision, as well as the trimmer head for clean edges. A basic popup trummer in the shaver under side supplements that trims the head.

Overall, I was really impressed by the performance of the I9000 Electric Riz. Flexible heads easily glide over every smoke and let shave close, even if I’m getting wandering hair below 6 months, especially on my neck.

And the trummer head is properly powerful, so that the edges can be worked out in the first stage, while small popup trims take care of the last touch for a clean beard.

Philips say the flexible tone is good for two years before changing (you can buy alternative heads on the Philips website). I am not so sure – after more than six months of line and regular use, I’m already planning to replace them. Of course. The number depends on that you shave regularly, but I understand that the average person wants to change the heads after a year for excellent performance.

Overall, Philips I9000 has given me the best electric razor experience so far and this is proof in Kheer – I like to shave and my wet razor has been unused all the time.

    Philips I9000: Consider too

How did I experience Philip I9000

    • My main razor for six months
    • I have used it mostly days, whether it be shaved or trimmed
    • Tested in both wet and dry environment

I used Philips I9000 as my only shaver a few times a week a week. I usually clean my neck and cheeks with a triple shaver head and trim the beard edges daily with trimmer head or popup trimmer, while full shaving is less frequently.

I have been able to use the razor in wet and dry shaving conditions, guess how it performs in both scenarios and how effective it is resistance to its water. Generally, I store the shaver in a wash bag and run the battery at zero before the charging base to recharge. I have also used cleaning pods provided to clear the device.
