An UI 8 rollout continues with a phone of 2024 and 2023. This is already happening before the schedule, but now it seems that only the equipment in Korea is getting a new OS version.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 (both from 2023) are joining their 2024 Z siblings in Android 16. This is a limited release for now, and the only devices in Korea are watching the beta version are seeing a steady update (F946nksu5FYi8). Their IT, it is just a relatively smal -updation around 420MB.

Samsung Galaxy S33, S33+, S33 Ultra and S33 are also being involved in the operation. If you are updating from an UI 7, this is a heavy 3.2GB update, but if you are running a beta, it’s a small 470MB download. It also includes the September 1 security patch. S24 FE got a stable update a few days ago, anyway. Once again, it is hitting the phone in Korea first, though it seems that the phones in Vietnam are also watching it.
We are also seeing reports that the Samsung Galaxy A55 and A35 are being updated – once again, starting with the Korean version. A555 update (A556sksu6cyi6) is a 1.9GB download. As far as new models are concerned, A36 and A56 got a stable UI 8 a few days ago.

Keep in mind that this is ahead of the schedule – according to Samsung Brazil, the Rollout for Z Philip 5 and Z Fold 5, S3 -Series and A55 had to start on October 2. So, if you are not seeing an UI 8 update notification today, try again in a few days.
In addition to the Samsung phone, an UI 8 is also coming to the bullets. The Tab S11 series runs it out of the box, the Galaxy Tab S10+ becomes the first slate to retrieve it as a refreshing.
