Xiaomi hosted a major event this week where we saw the first film of several new equipment, including the Redmi Pad 2 Pro. We had to test the pad 2 pro with the matte glass screen, and these are our first impression.
For 80 380 tablets, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro Mate Glass version looks like a more expensive device and feels like a more expensive device. It brings an aluminum UNBD, which is cool for contact, and at 610 grams, it has some limit, but not poorly. It seems to be much lighter than what you expect from this size pill, and is also quite thin at 7.5 mm.

12.1 -inch IPSLCD contains 120 HHz refresh rate and long 16:10 aspect ratio, as well as 1,600 x 2,560 PX resolution. The panel is classified up to 600 knots, which is not much higher than more expensive pills, but when we experience it inside the house, it looks decent.
The blurred screen was very good in maintaining the reflection in the bay, which is always important on the big screens. The panel has been flashed by the quad speaker with dolby atoms support, which produces decent volume.

Going around the device, we have a power button and two out of four speakers and top. Sadly, there is no fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button, which is a strange mistake that is for some reason suffering from recent launching Android tablets.
The right-handed volume rocker and microSD card are slot, while there are two more speakers, USB-C port, and even a good old 3.5 mm headphone jack capacity.
Redmi Pad 2 Pro up and down
The Xumi Pad 2 is offering several first -party accessories for the Pro, including a flip cover, a keyboard case and a Redmi Smart Pen Styles, which has 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity. The cover and the keyboard presented a dedicated holster for stylus, which is good for those times when you go on.
When we are on this topic, Pad 2 Pro’s 12,000 mAh battery, Snapdragon 7 S. General 4, should provide enough time to walk. You also get 33W wired charging, which is not the fastest, but some are better than a competitor’s offer.
Redmi Pad 2 Pro Cover, Keyboard and Smart Pen
As far as performance is concerned, Pad 2 Pro felt smooth and responsible in our initial tests. Easy tasks like web browsing with a permanent switching between numerous tabs, media playbacks and multi -tasking. We will ensure more details about its permanent performance and benchmark in our entire review. A sharp word toward the software – we are running Hypers 2 -based Hyperson 2, though refreshing in Hypers 3 is coming soon.

That’s all we have for the Pad 2 Pro right now. It looks like a solid midwife tablet, but we will preserve our decision for our full review.
