Why can you trust the Tech Radar

We spend hours in testing every product or service that we review, so you can be sure you are buying the best. Learn more about how we test.

Name.com is known as the Domain Registrar, but you will not even know that you are using it. If you have used the WIX, you will probably find your domain without giving another thinking through Name.com.

Without giving it a second thinking, the ethics of the name.com are known, especially for developers who do not want to wander with DNS quickly and without interruptions, and when things do not plan enough, it requires help.

Of course, this level of support and innovation is not the cheapest price, but buying a domain is not always about the bottom.

Of course, Name.com is known as the Domain Registrar, and for good reason. It offers one of the largest TLD selection of any registrar that has more than 600 TLDs, so you can assure you that you will find the right TLD you are looking for. From popular TLDs like .com and .co.uk to niche and modern, such as .ai, .lol, and. Cole, and Cool.com.com has everything.

A standard .COM domain will cost you 99 12.99 for the first year (renewed at Name 27.99), 99 4.99/year for Named’s Advance Security Tire, which includes WHOIS privacy, SSL certificate, and spam calls and unauthorized transfer or unauthorized transfer or protection.

However, if you bund Titan Email or Google Work Space, Name.com offers a serious year’s first year. It works like this:

    • If you buy Titan email (NAME.com paid email hosting, which costs $ 24 per year), they will throw free in the domain for the first year.
    • If you buy Google Work Space (Google Email/Productivity Sweet, Named.com, $ 42 every year), you can get a domain in only 99 0.99 for the first year.
    • If you buy both, the best discount (ie Titan Email One) will be applicable, so your domain will still be $ 0 for the first year.
    • It is worth noting that both Google Work Space and Titan Email are available at a flat 50 % discount with name dot com.

Hosting Product: Web, Cloud, and WordPress

Name.com now offers a reasonable list of products hosted from simple web hosting to cloud and one -click install WordPress hosting.

Sign up to all the high news, feedback, feedback, features and guidance in the TECH TACKANDER Pro Newsletter for your business to succeed!

The most basic web hosting plan allows you to create a single website and set up 100 email accounts in $ 6 a month on a 1 -year subscription. Note that Name.com does not offer multi -year subscriptions for its hosting services. The business plan, which is built for the scale, costs $ 13 a month on a 1 -year subscription and supports unlimited websites, unlimited email accounts, and unlimited storage.

Each account also includes a free SSL certificate, automatic backups every 48 hours, 99.9 % up -long guarantee, and easy management industry standard C panel panels. Even better, you will get a free domain name for the first year. For example, if you choose a.COM domain, which is usually 99 12.99, it will be free for the first year and then renew it from the second year at its usual rate.

That said, keep in mind that the privacy bundle for domain name (about $ 99 4.99) is not included in the free package. You have to pay separately for this.

Cloud hosting is more than decent. Name.com has contributed with digitalosine and has presented its basic joint droplets. A standard 60GB drop of drop l’ll, you will have to pay 6 216 in a year, and if it was not expensive, backup – which are usually free with other providers – you’ll return $ 72 more a year. This is very expensive according to industry standards.

That said, there are still some strong points on the offer: you help with global data centers, one click deployment, and a popular platform like WordPress, Ubuntu, Debine and Santos. The provider also mentions an easy upgrade. However, with cloud hosting, the quality of gold is automatically scaling and geo -spare. Name.com does not clearly state how many data centers he offers, while the other dedicated cloud hosts are more transparent, which you confirm waste before signing up.

Also, this is a joint hosting and cloud has not been arranged, so you will not get additional arrangements. In fact, the general questionnaire of the website directly states that you will need a basic level of understanding about the Linux and the command line to take full advantage of this self -organized cloud hosting. So this is certainly not for everyone.

As far as WordPress hosting is, Name.com in a year. In 29.95, only one plan offers. It comes with everything you need a basic website: one click installation, unlimited storage, unlimited bandout, free daily backup, plugin support, and a free Encrypt SSL certificate. However, if you are looking for more advanced features such as staging environment, automatic updates, or better catches, you may be better somewhere.

All of them, unless you are looking to get the name.com hosted products in somewhere (hosting, domain, site builder), you will improve with a dedicated web host, because you are likely to get more features there – and at a better price.

    Performance and Customer Support

The last time we experienced the name.com, it actually performed above, providing permanent up -time and impressive speeds.

Our latest tests, though, are still ongoing, and we will soon update this page to reflect recent results – so keep it connected.

The name of the name.com is initially less and less, and this means that the company needs to provide support for the quality of its target audience. The company’s Knowledge Base is quite decent, with menu and links you have been pointed to different titles, which include articles highlighting common issues, and a search box is available to help you find your needs.

We tested some tests. The engine has regularly reported a large number of articles, but not just web hosting, the name dot com product covers, so we had to scroll through the various domain registration and email hosting articles.

Once we locate more relevant materials, the situation was chosen. Usually there is not much detail, but most articles cover the basic points, with screenshots you are pointing to the right direction, and if you prefer some video lessons.

There is a support team to deal with more complicated questions. They are available through telephone and direct chat, only in a limited number (from 7am to 10pm and from 12 noon to 3pm to Monday to Friday, the phone from 2pm to 8pm), but if you need a 24/7 ticket support.

    The final decision

Name.com is a terrific store front where you can find everything you need to continue business online. It offers excellent and affordable domain registration, as well as Google Work Space with Gemini and Titan Email. In the upper part, you also get hosting options, including WordPress hosting.

He said, if your primary priority is hosting, you will be better offered by a dedicated web host. Although Name.com has extended its hosting range, these services still feel like strong adventures that fulfill its basic strength: domain registration.
