You can say that I had been busy in the past few days-Air Pods Pro 3 shakes 3 and I am running Apple Watch Ultra 3 daily between Apple Watch Series 11 and Apple Watch SEC.
This is finally a proper upgrade to climb anywhere, anywhere, anywhere. In 2024, it got a slightly specific collision and a fresh paint job, but for 2025, Apple really scored Ultra 3 in a way that makes it a compulsory upgrade for people of the first or second generation, especially the former.

Similarly, just as Apple is sticking to its series 11 smart watch with a previous repetition round ‘Square’ look, it is clear that Apple Watch Ultra 3 is sticking to its trial and trial design here. It still offers a supersed 49 mm display in a thick, more durable titanium body.
Ultra 3 comes in natural titanium or black titanium, and I am testing the latter, which looks especially a sleek. It also enables to see a wide angle, so even when you have a better chance of reading what you have in the display-when I have found it especially helpful when checking notifications with my arm or in a low brightness. Apple has also reduced Bezels 24 % all around. When comparing Ultra 3 with Ultra 2, it is noteworthy, while looking at the maps – such as hiking pathways – or photos on 49 mm display.
Ultra -3 display can reduce its brightness from 3,000 nuts to less than 1 nut in the dark. Most of the interface has been introduced in the Watchos 26 of the liquid glass design. And although it looks sharp, the S10 chip within it is too fast to deal with actions.
It still charges with the same magnetic puck that is included in the box, but now it supports rapidly charging.

Satellite connectivity for communication has a lot of meaning on the device that is likely to be worn in areas without cell service, and Apple Watch Ultra is the first Apple Watch to support satellite contact.
Apple was the emergency SOS through the satellite announced by the headline satellite announced in the September start program, and I hope you never need it, I got a demo at Apple Park. Like the satellite connectivity of the iPhone, it goes through the process of sending you a warning: identifying this problem, you can identify your wrist for a satellite connection, packaging information, sending it to orbit, and returning the response.
In the demo, we dial 911 and mobilize the SOS on Ultra 3. Once he realized that the grid had no contact, he started sending emergency text through a satellite. The clock led us through a question mark – we chose “lost or trapped”, confirmed that it is only we are, and there is no active injury. This is especially easy if you are lost on the trail. As a last step, you can also notify emergency contacts.

Of course it was a demo, but it shows how impressive the system works. In particular, it can sometimes transmit data without moving your wrist, which can be helpful if it is mobilized as a backup while detecting an accident or fall.
Satellite has been available in the United States for two years via Emergency SOS – though Apple has an extension date – and in the UK and Australia, it is also free, with extra search, with my features, which also operates via satellite. I was able to find myself, but in the United States, an active cellular plan is required to find myself and messages.

Apple also re -designed Ultra -3 internals, and thanks to it there is a large battery inside it. Apple categorized Ultra 3 for up to 42 hours with routine use, and before I see a meaningful drop in the battery life, I am easily hitting sleep tracking. It’s just a powerhouse, and I will test it more, including low power mode, which can increase the run time to 72 hours.
