The iPhone 16 series was the last entry in a design which can be detected in 11 series. Now the new iPhone 17 Generation is here and it is at a better start than last year’s models, after analyst Mang Chi Cov has examined production goals and a week after a week after examining production goals and lead hours.
Last year, the first week of the iPhone 16 pre -order was less than expectations. Now, Apple has begun to recover and the first week’s demand for iPhone 17 models has made the top in its predecessors.
Coo looked at the lead Times – shipping estimates for new models, which increased rapidly for several weeks. The production target for Apple’s iPhone 17, 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max this year was 25 % higher than the same models in Q3 2024. Despite high output, estimated delivery times are a week longer, which recommends a strong demand for basic three.

Apple iPhone 17 • Apple iPhone 17 Pro • Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max • Apple iPhone Air
Of these, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is still the most desirable model. Apple has increased production by 60 % or more compared to 16 Pro Max, but nevertheless, lead time are the same for both models.
As far as newcomers, iPhone Air, Apple aims to produce 3X in Q3 this year compared to the iPhone 16 Plus last year. It seems that this is the right number because air is not showing any delay in shipping. Kuo says air sales will have to be tracked in a long time before reaching a fair diagnosis.
The iPhone 17 series is on sale this Friday. In the meantime, check out our hot tech on 2025 iPhones and take a look at what the iPhone air had to sacrifice as the thinner it was.
