Google opens a new chapter in the Pixel phone story, ready for pre-order with a chip set made from TSMC. Three of the new models will start shipping next week, foldable will not be out until the beginning of October. Prices are like last year, which is great-even better, the Amazon throws in pre-order gift cards.
Google Pixel is the first vanilla model with telephoto lens. However, it loses 1/1.31 “sensor in the central and high resolution ultra-wide central and high resolution ultra-wide. Google Pixel 10 Pro XL also receives a $ 200 gift card and is primarily an upsized version of 10 Pro. It has a 6.8 “LTPO display (1344p+) and 5,200mAh battery that has a sharp 45W wired and 25W QI 2 charging. Note that this year there is no 128GB option – the cheapest Pro XL is now 256 GB model.
Once again, Pixel 10, 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL are now on pre -order and will start shipping next week (nominal, August 28, but the first unit can arrive soon).
Samsung’s flagship series has been for a while and has competitive prices. The Galaxy S25 pixel is smaller with 6.2 “LTPO display from 10 and is also cheaper. It has Snapdragon 8 Elite Chip – we have not seen the tanker G5 in action (anyway, but more than that is the camera camera. Vanilla Pixel’s 10.5MP 5X camera.
As far as battery is concerned, 4,000 MAh cell within S25 puts it in a loss, but Google’s tanker has not yet proven that it is able to run effectively. Oh, and if you want magnetic charging and accessories, you will need the right case – it’s not made on the phone.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is around the same price, such as the Pixel 10 Pro XL – though the $ 200 gift card indicates scales in favor of Google Phone. Which of these two have a better camera? This is the subject of future shootings.
If you are more concerned with weight instead of height and width, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is 163 g, which is more than 41 grams of “small” pixel 10. It is cheaper than the pixel and significantly thin and light – 8.9 mm/4.2 mm and 215 g, compared to 10.8 mm/5.2 mm and 258g for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Even you can compare it to Pixel 10 Pro XL – it is 8.5 mm thick and weighs 232 grams. The battery capacity is a weak point and is only 4,400mAh compared to 5,015mah for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
Google also unveiled a new Smart Watch, Google Pixel Watch 4 this week. It has promised to improve battery life and health compared to his predecessor. And, impressively, this satellite is the first smart watch with SOS capabilities – you have to get the LTE model, though, which is $ 100. Nevertheless, you cannot put a price on mental comfort and it can replace a dedicated satellite messaging device.
Samsung’s new Galaxy Watch can’t call for more than 8 satellite, but it is significantly thin – 8.6 mm vs 12.3 mm. However, the Square Circle design cannot be for everyone’s taste. Note that Vanilla Watch 8 comes with a free Galaxy Smart Tag 2, which can be used to track your luggage.
As an alternative, you can get the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 classic. It has a unique hardware control, rotating bezel, but the inside screen is a small side for the 46 mm model – 1.34 “.
Another new accessories this week is Google Pixel Bids 2A. Like the Watch 4 and Pixel Fold, they will only be available from the beginning of October. They have noise cancellation (ANC) and local audio support, but no wireless charging.
