    Introduction

The latest mid -range smartphone of the Realmi P4 Pro brand. Realmi is on a slight role with its PP series launches, this is the fourth that we have just seen launching this year.

Unfortunately, the P4 Pro is not particularly original proposal. This is, for all intentions and purposes, Reylum is 15 Pro that we have recently seen with some minor changes. Depending on how you want to see it, it’s not a bad thing. Nevertheless, the P4 Pro 15 is in a full price class below the Pro, and if you are getting the same phone on a large price at a lower price, the P4 Pro looks like a better deal.

Relme P4 Pro Springs at a glance:

    • Body: 162.3×76.2×7.7 mm, 189 g; Glass Front, plastic and glass fiber frame, polycarbonate back; IP65 dust tight and water resistant (low pressure water jet), IP66 dust tight and water resistant (high pressure water jet).
    • Display: 6.80 “OLED, 1B color, 144hz, 4608hz PWM, HDR10+, 1800 nits (HBM), 6500 nits (peak), 1280x2800px resolution, 19.69: 9 aspect ratio, 453ppi.
    • Chip Set: Qualcomm SM7750 -AB Snapdragon 7 General 4 (4 NM): Otta Core (1×2.8 GHz Cartax -720 and 4×2.4 GH Herotz Cortex -720 and 3×1.8 GHz Cartax -520); Adreeno 722.
    • Memory: 128GB 8GB RAM, 256GB 8GB Ram, 256GB 12GB RAM, 512GB 12GB RAM; UFS 3.1.
    • OS/Software: Android 15, 3 larger android upgrades, realme ui 6.0.
    • Back Camera: Wide (Main): 50 MP, F/1.8, 24mm, 1/1.56 “, 1.0µm, PDAF, OIS Wide (Main): 8 MP, F/2.2, 112˚, 16 mm.
    • Front Camera: 50 MP, F/2.4, 22 mm (wide), 1/2.88 “, 0.61olk.
    • Video Capture: rear camera: 4K@30/60fps, 1080p@30/60/120 FPS, Giro-AIS, OIS; Front Camera: 4K@30/60fps, 1080p@30/60fps.
    • Battery: 7000mAh; 80W Wired.
    • Contact: 5 g; Wi-fi 6; BT 5.4, Optics HD, LDAC, LDC 5; Infrastructure port.
    • Miscellaneous: Fingerprint reader (under display, optical); Stereo speaker.

But we are moving here. Rail P4 Pro has a similarly specified sheet like 15 Pro, but differences come in the back of a lower resolution ultra -wide camera, which changes the 50 MP unit for 8 MP, as well as lack of RGB lighting and two head flash deficiency. On the other hand, the P4 Pro is obtained, called Realme Hyper Vision AI Chip, which is an image processor to improve the frame rate in gaming and video work loads. And then there are some design and quality differences.

This means that you are still getting a large, high resolution display claiming 144Hz refresh rate and 6500 nits peak brightness, Snapdragon 7 general 4 chip sets, a large battery of 7000 mA with 80W fast charging, and 50 MP main reader and front camera.

Considering the low cost of P4 Pro, it looks like a good thing. Let’s see how this ‘light’ version of the 15 Pro performs.

    Inboxing

Realmi P4 Pro comes in a standard yellow reelmi packaging. Inside, you get the phone, a charger, and data cable. Retail units should also include a transparent case, which for some reason, was not inside our box, though it was mentioned from outside.
