Amazon will close its App Store on Android tomorrow. The Google Play Store will stop working on Android devices, starting on August 20, 2025, and you have not been guaranteed to work properly after closing all apps you download through the store.
Although the Amazon App Store will no longer be available on non -Amazon Android devices, it will continue to work on Amazon’s own devices, including fire TV and fire tablet devices.
