Google has developed a new feature for the calendar on the web. Although this new feature should work for many users, the more interesting aspect of this rollout is how it happened.

Earlier this week, Google’s CEO Sunder Pichai announced in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that a new feature for Google Calendar on the web is direct (H/T Takkarch) This new feature allows users to easily transcribe events. “This feature is now straight to everyone in the Google Calendar on the web, thanks to this advice.”
In this social post, the pitch is especially thankful to John Colison, especially the co -founder of the strip. Last month, Collison tagged the pitch in an X post and requested that Google add an option to copy the calendar events, the feature that exists in many other calendar apps. Collison specifically asked “Can we, like many local calendar applications, click CTRL on Google Calendar?”
It is often not that you look like a company like a company so big to enforce a feature on a user’s request quickly. Nor do you often see the CEO of this company wearing your customer service. But I guess being a co -founder of a large fantasy company, maybe you buy some pressure.
After the announcement, the commentators openly asked if Collison could give more suggestions. Box CEO Arun Levy joking, “John, can you ask Vimo to work on El Cymino via the peninsula? Thanks!”
