Google has messed up. For the past few months, a story has been returning repeatedly to suffer from a pixel lineup, and it is all focused around battery problems. In particular, some fish items around Pixel 4A and 6A batteries, essential updates, limited battery charging, battery change programs, cashbacks to buy a new phone, and weird burst battery or two.
Throughout this dirt, one thing has become quite clear: Google is trying to sweep the news or trying to show that it is not happening. It doesn’t matter how many times we arrive for comment or when the Pixel 6A when the news was bad, the 7A battery of the Dom Dom joined 4A, Google remained very quiet about all of them, just shared official communication about refreshments and compensation.
As Pixel 2 XL in 2017, as a Pixel user, and someone who is recommending pixels to every person around me (my husband has Pixel 7 Pro, my Auntie 6 Pro, my mother 5), this makes me very confused and disappointed. My confidence in Google has also fallen below zero in the ability to handle any hardware malfunction. Pixel 10 Series? I’m really excited about it, but do I trust Google so much to charge your new phone at my bedside table at night? No, I don’t care about this for the Pixel 10 series.

Pixel battery is a lesson of corporate ambiguity
If you are not paying full attention to the Google Pixel battery story, let me recover the story. Its start on January 6, 2025, the first day of the CES Mehm, when everyone’s eyes are on other tech news. Google slips a notice to Pixel 4A users in which they were informed of the unexpected battery performance program updates, which should improve their battery performance and stability. There is a brief mention that the opposing effect of some units has engulfed our eyes, but we believed that compensation for these affected users is free from Google, especially on a four -year -old phone.
If that’s it, I would be fine, but things went down quickly. Pixel 4A owners started complaining about updating their battery life, some barely make the phone screen in a few minutes of time. We discovered that the Pixel 4A unit has been sent with two different types of batteries – Lashin (LSN) and the Empires Technology Limited (ATL). The latter is good, the former bad. And the update dropped the LSN’s useable battery charge at 56 %. None of these information came from Google, but from our Internet sliding. After a month, Pixel 4A was completely withdrawn to Australia, yet there is no explanation or commitment to work better than Google.
It was not the end of Google’s battery problems, as things became even more serious. First, Google recognizes the problem of swelling in the battery at Pixel 7A – no doom here, just to know whether your device is affected and offers free battery change or compensation. We found a phrase that said that Google has decided that there is a problem. Just
If I was looking at an isolated incident, the loss would have been left. But one official memory, one model is catching fire, the other is getting a swollen battery, and receives two essential updates that end battery life… Well, which increases many events and bad presses. And through it, Google’s attitude is to change its nose and sweep this problem under a carpet with a meaningless corporate phrase, which is to avoid any real accountability or specific details about the main reason.
Google can answer all of our questions, but it is keeping the mother

My fellow Hudley said the best when he wrote that Google wants you to forget its pixel battery matters, but you should not do so. We will not forget. It is our job to make companies accountable for their screwups. In addition, this is not a problem once. This is a repeated problem that has not been explained or properly. Google can throw all confusing and quiet confessions, compensation amount, battery transformation program, or battery aid updates, but it cannot erase the fact that something is wrong in the pixel batteries.
Because of the nature of my work, I have many pixels in my newly purchased house. There are no pixels 4A or 6A, but there are many new series and high -end models. Is it a risk of fire when closing, or does this problem only take place when charging and after several hundred bicycles? Should I maintain them and take the risk of protecting my home, or should they send them back to Google? Should I warn my mother and my aunt and ask them to switch to phone? Can the Non-A series models also be affected? Is it a continuous, or is it realistic to be worried about the flagship Pixel 10 series? Sadly, I cannot answer any of these questions.
You know who can do, though? Google. Google can easily highlight the problem of what this problem is, which batteries are affected, which pixel models carry these batteries, and as a company, what is doing to reduce the defect of its clear hardware component in its future phones. Money and free battery change is good, but they do not solve the trust problem. Just be transparent and let me know that this is not a problem in the Pixel 9 series and will not be included in the Pixel 10 series. Explain me so that I can regain my confidence and know that I can charge my future Pixel 10 without a fire, and so I know that the company I am buying my product will be at the top of any potential hardware defects. When problems are cracked at such a dangerous rate, it should be at least Google.
