I know my way around a couple of Joyce Sticks – but I will prefer Growth. I don’t want to think about filmmaking while flying. I will find out.
Now, the camera maker is launching its first drone under a new drone company to meet this exact demand. This is called antigery, and in January 2026, it will send a flying 360 degree camera that is unlike today’s drone-. Always Come with springs that put you inside its virtual cockpit.
It flies a bit like a similar folding arm and all 250 grams of weighing, but the experience of using the new antigity A1 is quite different. Like the Hoover X1, which completely dug controllers, it seems that antigity has opened a whole new type of drone.
Since it has a 360 degree camera, you can fly in the sky, or through a park, and easily bend your head to look in any direction. You don’t need to fly straight on the things you want to see or make the camera aim. And because it is Recording 8K footage in each direction simultaneously, you can direct a whole video with virtual zoom and pan and rotation after your flight is over.
On the day of the sun, I flew a prototype in a park in northern California, I remember some birds watching. But weeks later, while reviewing my footage, I discovered that I had filmed a complete flock – more than 40, when I zoom and zoom my virtual camera and take time to count. Watch my embedded video about who I am talking about.

Don’t misunderstand me, it’s still a drone, and it is still a 360 degree camera, which has hereditary boundaries. Although it is calm with some people, I still do not want its noisy blades wandering around the middle of my wedding ceremony, even if I admire an irrational recording.
And although it records on 8K and is intending the quality of the same icon, such as the famous Insta 360 X5, 360 degrees cameras spread these pixels into incredibly wide canvas: yet it is not enough to add a lot of things to the zooms, without the dramatic damage of the image quality. (I tested my initial footage in Quest 3, and you can check it on YouTube 360.)
So for the best results, you wouldn’t want to fly above things: you would like to stay close. But not close enough to see the sewing lines between the cameras on top and bottom of the antigity A1. Nearly hidden stitching clearly prevents the drone frame from appearing in its field, but it is worth noting when it artificially shorten people and objects that are at the level of drones.
Still, watching my initial footage was a sensational experience, especially because I never had to think about filmmaking. And clearly, I didn’t have to think about it Flight So much, either.
In 2022, I was shocked by the new bar to set up by DJI Aviva for early drones, which gave me just a Motion Sensing Joyce Stick and pulled the trigger to feel like a flying pilot through the air with optional springs for the first person’s view. But anti -gravity springs me are the field of view (about 90 degrees) and while its grip is doubled near the controller. Seems to be Likewise, it is as easy as a point and shoot. You can intend to fly in a completely different direction that you face, only by identifying your controller hand, and getting a picture of this direction to help you avoid accidents. If you prefer, there is also a traditional twin stick controller in development, as well as propeller guards.
But you should know that A1 is probably not for thrilling people. Compared to an otted, the prototype I tried is slowly and stable, which flies more like a traditional camera drone, and the front of the front was a barrier sensor Lot In my demo aggressive, refusing to easily fly me under a wide open game structure in my local park. I also hope that the final version has a slightly less visual sample and a slightly strong wireless signal than the prototype: Range and visual transmission in the headset were not bad, but they were certainly not a very high bar of DJI.
I am also not sure about some of A1’s snazziest features. Its landing gear is enjoyed automatically to see folds and opening, and I am sure my children will kick to see where Daddy has flown on Gogs’ outer screen, but I will probably prefer to pay a lower price for low components and low points of failure.
By the way, I can’t tell you how fast the anti -gravity A1 is technically, or still claims that it claims. The company is not releasing full sunglasses or pricing today, and it denied my request for a full interview that the Chinese company plans to sell it in the United States when the DJID is facing a facto ban, and Trump has made it clear that US drones should “dominate.”
But spokesman Ben Liu was ready to talk to him for a while. He tells me that American retailers like Best Baest and Amazon have been “very happy” even if the final contracts have not yet been signed, and that the company believes that the drone will take it to the United States, though “this is certainly a really great threat.” He acknowledged that its prices could have different prices in different regions, but that the full package with the springs and controller should be less than the DJI mock, perhaps less than $ 1,300.

Also, Insta360 claims that it stands as a whole new company and a whole new company with its own servers in the United States, and it is working on features with the hopes of actively showing governments. Before eliminating my demo, Liu insists that I try the “Payload detection” feature, which he claims to be designed to prevent the Integrated AI as a bomber. The drone, filled with weight of many small metals, forces itself to descend immediately after removing itself.
“We just want to show our attitude that this drone is just for fun,” says Liu.
I don’t know if this demo has proven to be too much, because I suspect the US government will be more concerned about anti -gravity as a powerful surveillance tool because its 360 degree camera can cover more area at a time.
But this, it looks like a different and easier way to fly and film mainly. Even if antigity A1 does not end because of the winner, I am now confident that the DJI and rivals will follow it.
