    • Pable has revealed the design of his upcoming Time 2 Smart Watch.
    • Like the old pebble time steel, Time 2 also comes with a stainless steel body and metal buttons.
    • It includes a 1.5 -inch color e -paper display and is expected to start shipping in January 2026.

After more than eight years, the beloved naked bones pibble smart fitness trackers are ready to return in 2025. In January this year, Pable’s founder and former CEO Eric Megicovsky announced his plans to restore the lineup, and followed two watches-2 pair and followed by core Time 2 in March. These watches offer battery backups for 30 days and run the open source version of the pebble OS.

Now, Megicovsky shared some of the latest information about these watches on the third installment of his podcast, Tuck Talk, which is especially about the updates on the Pable OS watches. First, the basic company, core devices, has been able to regain the Pable Trade Mark and will now be able to sell it with that name. It was already announced on a blog in July and today it was repeated in the video.

Therefore, the previously announced watches will be sold as “Pebble 2 Pair” and “Pebble Time 2”. Although the “core” is likely to be part of the company’s identity, we are not sure that these watches – and the new -launched series – will be marked as a core or just a pebble.

The second and more important update is about the design of the pebble time 2 (first core time 2). Magikoski revealed the final design near Pable Time 2 and shared other details about the display and other components.

Don’t want to miss the best from Android Authority?

Inspired by the original pebble time steel, the re -born version comes with a stainless steel all -metal chassis. Unlike the design that is back in March, Time 2 does not have a rectangular dial feature, but instead there are fine curves along the left and right edges. There are four buttons along with perfi – on one side three and on the other, just like plastic pebbles 2 pair, but they also come with a checker plate pattern that engraved on the buttons more super -sensation. Yes.

Pable Time 2 comes in two colors options, including silver and black, with the completion of the same clean metal by the dial that appears from above. A third color was also promised in March, but Megikoski has now said that it will have two more colors. Avoiding any concrete details, he indicated that red or blue can be entered between the upper and lower metal plates. A standard 22 mm has been used in the clock so that you can choose from multiple ordinary clock bands, as well as old pebble watches available.

Display confirmation on the new Time 2 has previously been confirmed to have a nearly 1.5 -inch e -paper display with support of 64 colors. Although the colors are expected to be silent, the team has been able to use multi -color LEDs as a backlight source of display, which may be used to adapt to the color temperature or enable the hot accent for night.

The upper glass is ready to be flat, which, according to Megicoski, helps reduce the reflection by light sources. The display is also considered to support the touch, but it seems that the team has not yet known it. Meanwhile, we have already seen how the charger of the two pebbles looks like.

In addition, Megicovsky has talked about adding compass to 2 in the time of pebbles. Earlier, it has been confirmed that it has been offered a six -axis Jeroscope because the pebble 2 pair (former core 2 pair), but later also found a barometer, which is apparently decreased by 2. Since it is still a development of a work and is not expected before December, we can hear about some changes in the coming months.

If you want to catch someone, you can pre -order concrete time 2 on the brand’s online store, though beware that the current order will not start shipping before January 2026.

Finally, when the Alpha phase supporters have begun receiving their pebbles 2 pairing units, Megicovsky said last month that the devices have yet to go into mass production, and now the brand is seeking to start shipping from the end of August, which has been calculated a better IP rating test. However, we may still have to delay the original shipping schedule.
