Elon Musk has threatened Apple to take legal action for what he apparently likes to Open’s Chat GPT app in his App Store rating. In a series of posts on X on Monday, he wrote that a chatboat created by his own company Xi, Grook, was unfairly punished by the iPhone maker.
“Apple is behaving in a manner that makes it impossible for any AI company other than Openai to reach #1 in the App Store, which is an incorrect violation of distrust,” Musk said. “Z will take immediate legal action.”
Addressing Apple directly, he asked, “Why do you refuse to put any X or Grok in your ‘mandatory’ section when the X is the number one news app in the world and Grook ranks fifth in all apps.”
Grook is currently the number 5 free app in the US App Store, but Kasturi has not provided any other evidence to support allegations of non -confidence violations. Zee did not immediately respond to the request for comment.
“The App Store is designed to be fair and prejudiced,” an Apple spokeswoman said. “We offer thousands of apps through the charts, algorithmic recommendations, and objective standards selected by experts. Our aim is to offer safe discovery for consumers and offer valuable valuable opportunities for developers, which is rapidly developed to increase the app with many people in the category.”
The competition between AI Chat Bots has never been too severe, but since the Openi first issued Chat GPT to the public in November 2022, it has been permanently popular with AI fans and is currently at the top position in the App Store. Meanwhile, Grook arrived a year later, and he is sometimes known for his informal, unpleasant tone as well as his ability to produce spicy, controversial and disturbing material.
Apple has a current relationship with Openi, using your models as the basis of Apple Intelligence. Kasturi also has a history with an open. He was actually the founder of the company, after which he tried to prosecute. After reports of the open and Apple Intelligence integration, Musk also threatened to ban the use of Apple devices in their companies.
Openi CEO Sam Altman published a link to a plateframers article on Monday – in response to Musk’s threats – in which it was claimed that the X owner created a special system to prefer his posts on the platform, regardless of it.
“This is a remarkable claim that I have heard that Elvin does to benefit himself and his companies and to manipulate X to harm his rivals and people, which he doesn’t like,” said Ultman.
