According to a Bloomberg report, Apple is examining new features with its Sri Assistant’s popular apps.
This test is being done with the purpose of releasing a reformed Siri in the spring of 2026, which uses Apple’s app’s intentions to do what Sri Apple can do outside the OS and First Party apps. For example, people may be eligible to post Instagram comments or just buy them using their voice, some Siri cannot do with most apps that Apple did not produce itself, according to the report.
Apple’s representative did not immediately respond to a comment request.
Apple showed a demo of this type of functionality last year, but may not be restored to 2027. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gorman, Apple engineers have some internal doubts about whether this functionality will work to a great extent, especially in apps where errors can be expensive or harmful, such as health or banking apps.
“If the company gets fine, it will be a great feature that can give to Apple,” a new, sound first interface … it could potentially be a hit that many users didn’t see, “he writes.
Currency competition
Even if Apple manages to improve Siri with new features that consumers feel improved, the company will do so under the pressure of rivals on the front of artificial intelligence.

Sharma expressed skepticism that the release of spring 2026 would include everything that consumers could expect from a major Siri reaped. Sharma says, “At this point, there is no refreshing about any interesting abilities to come, so release can grow rather than revolutionary.”
But if Apple can work its magic and improve some of the features that it has given a glimpse of the previous year, its effects can be profound.
Sharma says, “Imagine the booking of flights, flights, cars and hotels through third party apps, sharing files through Mazon Amazon sharing files via SLA Silk/Email; “With these abilities, Siri can become a real AI assistant.”
