From everyday colleagues like smartphones and tablets to smart refrigerators and even some coffee mugs, it seems that there is no escape. In a world where we permanently interact through swinging and tapes, the idea of a small screen on a personal gadget looks almost like a novel and more natural next. And JBL has been doing the same with many of its true wireless stereo (TWS) airbids in the past two years.
We reviewed the JBL Live Beam 3 in 2024, and when its built -in display certainly brought perseverance, the cancellation of the noise and the basic audio performance was huge to ignore commercial relations.
Maintaining balance between a rich feature set and providing audio quality is a tough question, but the recently introduced JBL Tour Pro 3 is to achieve the goal. JBL Tour Pro 3 is a guaranteed conversation star, and this is mainly due to the touch screen display (about which we will talk about later in review). I was asked about them when they were used in public theory, they were asked on more than two occasions.
Airbuds itself has a traditional stem design and comes with a texture surface that provides good grip. Airbeds are quite lightweight (each 5.6 grams), and I didn’t even feel weight after long use for several hours. The company provides a total of six pairs of air tips, including the foam aromatic option, and I was able to easily find the size option that fits me easily.

On each airbid, there is a touch sensitive section section that supports single tape, double tape, and triple tape signals. Left airbed can be used to cycle between various active noise cancellation (ANC) methods, while the right person provides playback control. Touch controls are the most responsible that I have tested on the Airbus couple to date.
However, I mostly have a penalty grip with TWS Aerobids, in which the budget circle 7 pro -review (review) is surprisingly resolved, but even JBL cannot: Volume control. There is no option to adjust the volume through Airbuds itself on JBL Tour Pro 3.
Now imagine a scenario where your phone gets away from reaching when you want to adjust the equalist or change the tracks. Even if the matter is near, you can’t do much with it. However, this is not the problem of JBL Tour Pro 3. This smart charging case provides you with control like a fellow app on your phone.
The smart charging case of JBL Tour Pro 3 contains a 1.57 -inch LCD screen, which provides an amazing set of features in your option. The main things that begin, such as switching between ANC methods, controlling the volume, and testing the battery level. But in the upper part, you can receive the app notifications, the trigger can find the cycle between my functionality, local audio settings, see 24 hours time, activate the flashlight, and adapt to the equation without touching your phone.

Another notable feature is transmitter functionality. According to JBL, you can easily plug smart charging case in any audio source, such as a USB type-C to 3.5 mm cable, flight entertainment system or cassette players. This allows the case to act as a wireless audio transmitter, delivering audio to airbuds wirelessly. Very good then there is a proof and cast feature in the future, which can allow you to transfer audio to any synchronized devices.
Now, the entire concept of JBL Tour Pro 3 may feel a bit overwhelmed with a wide range of features on the offer, but that does not matter. Its interface is easy to use, and you can swipe different screens to access the feature of your choice. This was a smooth experience compared to JBL Live Beam 3.

However, packaging all this tech in the charging case means that you will not be able to supply a product that is aergonumic. And this is also valid for JBL Tour Pro 3. The smart charging case is certainly larger and heavier than most TWS airbods in the market, weighing 71.8 grams without airbeds.
JBL Tour Pro 3 is available in two completion – Black & Late. I have a review unit, and it ends almost the stealthy blurry black, which resists fingerprints. It also seems to be a premium. However, this is not a traditional TWS matter, and although it was not a problem for me because I put them in my bag, if you usually take your earphones into your pocket, it may take some time to adjust them, as they break a bit.

To start, I played tracks like Tom Mash’s “Disco Yes” and a mass attack “angel” and TWS Airbuds developed a deep boss that has been controlled. It is felt severely, but surprisingly, it does not feel overbearing. Listen to the drivers through Bill Kalahan, and you can feel the thick of the kick drum, while the sounds remain so strong. This complex balance is met with heights, which increases substantially.
When Kendrick is playing Lamar’s loyalty and Birdland of Manhattan Transfer, I could hear the explanation in high frequency in the solo harness and instrument. Another big win for JBL Tour Pro 3 is that the timbri did not look metal at any place, even in high volume. The sounds are also strictly represented. Play any adily track, and you can clearly hear the powerful sound without distortion.
Airbuds manage to substantially integrate noise with ANC

When local audio is turned on, TWS Airbuds make a wide sound stage and provide a large separation between different musical instruments. To test this, I played Sam Smith (Orchestra version), Daft Punk’s entire random access album, and everyone played unclean through California. In most of the tracks, the lead singer shines without a collision or wire equipment.
To tell him straightforward words, JBL Tour Pro 3 looks exactly how I want a pair of TWS Airbeds. This I have crossed some of the other Premium TWS Airbeds, I have experienced, including Air Pods Pro (First General) and Sony Link Budes, and critically equal to the Sony WF -1000 XM5.
JBL Tour Pro 3’s ANC is based on high standards like its audio standards. The TWS Airbeds can mostly drown out the noise, including a permanent Delhi Metro and a crowded restaurant. Interestingly, converting foam -based air tips increases the ANC slightly. I also experienced the cancellation of the noise by standing right with the Royal Enfield Hunter 350, but only one unconscious of the engine could have heard the grant. JBL does a great job here too.

Meanwhile, the transparency mood is less impressive, but you can hear the noise of people and vehicles on the road properly. (Quick PSA: We don’t advise you to do so.)
The quality of the call is also decent. There are a total of six microphones on JBL Tour Pro 3. Interestingly, I tested the average audio quality while walking on out -off box firmware. However, a software patch reached like a miracle and improved quality.
Some micoes in the JBL also meet the isolation of noise. The noise is well submerged, and the speaker’s sound rarely looks artificial. There is a clean feature that allows you to use one of the air bodies as a dedicated microphone. However, I did not feel any drastic improvement in the quality of the call, and when I usually used it for calls, it remained similar.
Rising towards the battery life, it is impressive. The company claims for 11 hours on a single charge with the ANC and up to eight hours with the ANC. In both scenario, they remained equal to the claimants. With the ANC off, TWS Airbuds lasted for about 10 10 hours, while changing the ANC reduced the battery life.
According to JBL, a sharp charge of 11 minutes provides use for up to three hours, and it proved to be almost accurate in my test. On a full single charge, I managed to squeeze with extraordinary use for 15 days of play time. This is more than appropriate, even if you often travel for extended periods.
JBL Tour Pro 3 Review: Decision
JBL Tour Pro 3 arrives as a bold statement in today’s TWS market. Banking on its excellent audio quality and a smart charging case that is superior to its rivals, Airbuds offer you a great deal of position as the best TWS to buy you. It helps with the help of a highly effective ANC and sustainable battery life. Although there are some commercial bonds, such as heavy charging case and a high -cost tag, a wide range of features on the offer is more than just one conduct and its shortcomings shadow.
