YouTube is expanding its experimental AI -driven search results to more premium users, though this feature still appears to be limited to consumers in the United States.
Google for the first time in June announced the results of its AI -powered search for YouTube Premium users in the United States. Now, according to the new features of YouTube for premium users, this feature is available on both iOS and Android by August 20, after which the company can consider a wider rollout.
How does it work
AI -powered search results appear in the upper part of some search results to help users discover the content more efficiently. For specific types of questions, especially for people who are related to purchase, travel, or local activities, Carousel shows a row of related videos, which also describes short AI infinite topic.
For example, a prepared set of videos can be presented with a quick summary in search of “Best Coast in Hawaii”, which can allow viewers to jump on direct relevant content without scrolling the entire results page.
The experimental feature is only available in the YouTube mobile app, supports English language videos, and does not appear for every question. If you want to try it, you can opt for this page. The feature currently operates only in the United States, but if the test runs well, YouTube can increase the AI -powered discovery device after the end of the trial later this month.
