Openai’s highly expected GPT5 was not enough to go to the Rollout Plan. Just a few days after making the new model default for all users, the company is making significant changes in response to the riots that pay users. Returning the GPT-4O model and doubling the limits of use of GPT-5.
Although GPT5 has promised better reasoning, faster performance and modern multi -modal capabilities, many chat GPT users were not affected. About 5,000 5000 Reddate users weigh on a rapidly growing thread compared to previous models, calling some GPT5 a “down grade”.
Common complaints focus on short response, more formal accents and harsh message hats. For a section of consumers, GPT -4O’s conversation style and warmth felt more attractive. Openi’s sharp axis suggests that regardless of the hypected performance of the AI model, rolling can fall flat very fast, especially if it changes the user’s experience greatly.
Many consumers clearly value familiarity, tone and flexibility as they value speed or reasoning. By restoring the GPT -4O and looting the GPT -5 sanctions, the open is acknowledging that personal nature is as important as the raw capacity.
