According to the latest report by the International Data Company (IDC), global tablet delivery increased by 13 % during the April -June (Q2) period, which reached 38.3 million units. The volume of increasing shipment was widely driven by alternative cycles, new device launches, and state subsidies in China. Several brands also stored inventory in expectation of revenue, which played a key role in the growing delivery.
Apple led the global pill market in Q2 with 12.7 million delivery and 33 % market share. Capetino’s base iPad (2025) was the key driver of the brand, who saw a 2.4 % increase in total delivery year by year.
Samsung came in second with 7.2 million delivery and 18.7 % market share for this period. The Galaxy tab series proved to be popular in Latin America, the Middle East and Europe.

Lenovo scored the top three with a strong demand for his tab M -series thanks to 3.1 million delivery and 8.2 % market share. China’s state subsidy also reinforced the demand for Y700 and Xiaoxin Pad Pro models.
In the case of Amazon shipment, the fastest growing company as its fire range increased by more than 200 %, with Lenovo being tied to 3.1 million delivery and 8 % market share. Xiaomi came in fifth with its PAD7 and Redmade Pad SE models with a strong demand for 2.8 million delivery and 7.4 % market share.
