One of the Google’s corporate databases has been violated, and data was obtained by hackers. This was confirmed on August 5 by Google’s Risk Intelligence Group (GTIG), which posted that the group responsible for the data violation is contacted by the Shen Hunters Rensamware Group. Google noted that the stolen data was “basic and widely publicly available business information, such as business names and contact details”. “

Google’s Threat Intelligence Group reported on data violations that ended by Google

Shen Hunters violates the group’s MoO violation. Rensamware group usually uses emails and phone calls to get their victims extortion, not three days after compromising the target files. Back in June, Google said it “observed” the Shen Hunter Group attacking multinational companies to steal data from the sales force platforms of these firms. Sales force offers cloud -based services to help companies handle their relationships with consumers, also known as Customer Relations Management (CRM).

GTIG said the attacks targeted English -speaking employees who are working for sales force clients and use sound phishing to help the employee connect the edited version of the sales force’s data loader application. The aforementioned English -speaking employees have received a phone call from someone claiming that it helps the personnel, who asked the target employee to accept contact with the client’s request known as Sales Force Data Lodger.

As its name shows, this is a key tool that is used in administrators and developers in the sales force that seek to import, export, update or delete a large amount of data. Since the invaders are targeting the targets of the sales force and use their CRM platform, the request for installing data loader by bad actors does not appear to be unusual. To connect the victims to the attackers, the latter pleases the affected person to open the sales force connecting setup page and enter the 8 digit connection code. It connects the victim to the attacker.

Google itself fell victim to the attack in June when its sales force was violated by CRM installations and customer data was stolen. The bulping computer spoke to Shen Hunters last Wednesday and was told that it violated several sales force incidents, which relates to a trillion dollar company. The threatening actor said he could decide to leak the company’s data rather than use the firm to get extortion. It is certainly not known whether the company is Google, though the details fits.

Other companies are being attacked, extortion is taken by email, at the same time the danger actor has demanded that they pay the ransom to prevent the data from being leaked publicly.

Google is recently being targeted from all sides

“In the recent wave of attacks by Shen Hunters, Google has faced a violation of the news that no organization is safe from cybercrime,” said William Wright, the closed door protection CEO, said William Wright, said William Wright, CEO of closed door.

For Google, to deal with a violation of data that wants to take money from a search giant, this is another problem with which the company has had to deal with recently. Last month, the ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled against Google’s appeal, thus upholding the jury’s decision, which has termed the Google Play Store App Store Front as illegal monopoly. In addition, the company faces the possibility of losing its search monopoly through US courts and through technology development.

With free apps and websites, AI is more accessible, many people are referring to Chat GPT, Gemini and other AI apps to get a more detailed response than available from Google Search, which is a leading search engine in the world with a market share of 90 %.
