It is either an upgrade time or it is usually the time to try foldable life. In any way, this year’s Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 looks like the next step, but a standing price tag can force you to think twice and instead to consider the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6.
The new z fold is more expensive in some areas, a few hundred rupees, which is in large quantities. Nevertheless, this is the largest generation upgrade that has been achieved by the Zo Fold Lineup in recent years. It offers a much better, lightweight and compact design, better performance, large screens and upgraded camera setup.
On the other hand, Z Fold 6 is quite cheap (mostly in markets) and the fact is that Samsung is offering expansion software support, which also helps its devices related to years. It also has the benefit of offering to support the pen, which Samsung has decided to leave on the new model.

The size comparison
This year’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 is the most important upgrade with better design. Now it is equal to competition in terms of weight and portability, which in turn means that it is a substantial upgrade to the Z Fold 6.
The new fold is about 24 grams lighter in its predecessor and is 3.2 mm thin. It may not look much, but the difference in the real world is night and day. The weight of the Z -Fold 7 is as thin as now with some flags with the traditional form factor. It feels like a different phone compared to the Z Fold 6.
On the other hand, last year’s Zool is tight and small, but with small internal and exterior screens.
Display the comparison
We already touched the size of the display in the back. The only real world difference between the two foldables is the screen and the proportion of the screen. Speaker test

Benchmark performance
As expected, the Z -Folds shows higher performance than 7Z Fold 6. The new foldable Snapdragon 8 General 3 Power Z Fold 6 improves the pure CPU -Benchmark test by 34 % and 33 % in the GPU heavy workload. As far as the joint antioxidant test is concerned, it shows about 29 29 % difference.
As we said, the performance difference is not trivial.
Camera compares
The new Galaxy Z Fold 7 takes over the old 50 MP main sensor with a large capabilities of 200 MP. Z Fold 7 Now uses the same main camera like the Galaxy S25 ultra. In the past, according to some previous comparisons, we do not expect a big difference in the quality of the image when we compare the images with the main cameras of the two devices despite the sensor resolution advice. The thing is, the production of these sensors has been reduced to 12MP with both phones, so it will be difficult to detect any significant change in the resolved detail. On the other hand, noise, high -reserish sensor images can be improved, and potentially dynamic range.
Z Fold 7 is better than 10 MP cartoon hole replaced by 4MP under -display selfie cam in the interior. This is the same sensor used on the outer screen punch hole camera, but with ultra -wide lens. This allows you to fit more in the frame.

At night, the ultra -wide of the Z Fold 7 is not so fast but it is not clean at all, with no noise which is a slightly obvious problem with ultra -wide of Fold 6 so we will take Fold 7 any day.

The internal selfie camera has promoted a significant quality by bringing more detail, better sophistication and wider dynamic limits compared to the 4MP under -display unit on the Z Fold 6.

If you live in the United States, it is a mental to go for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, keeping in view the difference of $ 100 equal to the difference between the two. Z Fold 7 offers a more better, lightweight design, big screens with good aspects, more powerful chip sets and more better camera experience. A slightly low -speaking speaking fold 6 is not enough to tip the scales. Unless you are dead on the pen, Z -Fold 6 is your only choice.
