It is not wrong to say that Apple Intelligence may have played the role of acting in the IOS 18 release last year, but for iOS 26, Apple’s suit of AI tools has been re -reproduced in a more supportive section. This time, the focus has been focused on the interface refreshments, which occupies the liquid glass spotlight.

But it would be unfair to describe iOS 26 as a refreshment that provides a short shift to Apple Intelligence. Apple has introduced some new AI capabilities with this iPhone software update, though a highly expected change-a better, more context, is currently not part of the iOS 26 public beta available, nor will it arrive at any time before 2026.

The features of the AI who have deducted it for the public son are mostly welcome for the part for H, especially in my early time there are two features with this refreshing, which I describe in my iOS 26 hand -on -deeper. Other additions to Apple Intelligence will be accepted by some iPhone users and will be neglected by others – but this is the nature of any software update.

    You can like

As we discuss Apple Intelligence, the new AI -powered features are available only to those who have installed iOS 26 beta on the phone according to Apple Intelligence. This means iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 16 models, including iPhone 16 e. Come in this fall, the new iPhone 17 models will be included in these ranks.

If you do not have an Apple Intelligence phone, I don’t think something new in iOS 26 is going to persuade you that it is time to upgrade. This debate is far from the table until the new and better sir appear. But the supporter of the iPhone 15 or then anyone wants to dive into many of the following iOS 26 AI additions – and they probably like what they find.

iOS 26 Apple Intelligence: Really good

To me, the two best features of Apple Intelligence included in the iOS 26 are real -time translations to your iPhone’s various communication apps and visual intelligence expanded search tools.

Let’s start with translation, which are available in phones, messages and fee time apps. Call someone who speaks you differently in the phone app, and you will hear the translation of what you are saying in your language when they hear the words you translate. In addition, a call transcript will appear on your iPhone screen.

Facetime translations work alike – audio of who you are talking about the duck below so that you can hear the translation. In the messages, incoming texts are automatically translated, and when you answer, your answer will be changed in the same language.

On the phone calls I have made, the translation works near the real time, in which the translated speech discusses the real person. It has the ability to engage, but the way the iPhone adjusts the audio, the conversation is independently free.

Although there is a catch, and it is not just that the translation is limited to selected languages at this point. On the contrary, it is a fact that you have to bring the language to the language to work in a bad way. The phone app will indicate downloading the language when you try to turn on the translation device, but I find that it is better to install this language on your phone in advance to avoid any strange break.

In the maximum scheme of things, this is probably not a big obstacle. You’re not putting phone calls and fee time requests from Randos who know which language is. Instead, you will know that when you make a phone call, there is probably a fluent Spanish speaker at the other end of the line, so that you can prepare prematurely. But this is a step you have to keep in mind to make most tools of iOS 26 translation.

Changes to visual intelligence are very intuitive, especially if you have used this feature in iOS18. The first version of the visual intelligence changed your iPhone camera into a search tool, which you found shot finding information about the photos, in which you identified the camera and created calendar events from dates and times on posters. iOS 26 extends these capabilities to screenshots.

I have an iOS 26 Visual Intelligence Hand on that runs you on how the latest features work, but it is enough to say that whatever visual intelligence can do with pictures also works for screenshots. And considering that visual intelligence before iOS 26 was already the most polished Apple Intelligence feature, which means that this AI -powered tool is even more capable of new software.

iOS 26 Apple Intelligence: Very good thing

I am not a shortcut user, the built -in automation app included in the iPhone. But I know a lot of people who are, and they are excited about the possibility of iOS 26 that they allow Apple Intelligence works to integrate into their workflits and shortcuts.

Specifically, you can tackle the shortcut with Apple Intelligence’s writing tools to get a series of documents summarizing and pasted in a message in a mail for your review. In another workflow, you may include a step where the image plays manufactures a reflection that is automatically entered into a document.

The major increase in the shortcut to iOS 26, though, is the fact that you can now access Apple Intelligence for your workflow, as well as tap in Chat GPT. Even more sophisticated workfootflower is increased, making the shortcut app irreparable to use, even for a holdout like me.

Unlike shortcuts, I am a regular user of reminders, so I appreciate the integration and list manager of Apple Intelligence’s more capabilities in this work. He said, “I am still trying to find some of these new abilities, tap them in a way that makes the app more efficient use.”

I give you an example of a new ability to draw details from websites, notes, and emails and remind them of reminders and reminders and reminders. For example, I can share the text from an email about the upcoming event for my daughter’s Girl Scout Trope, and reminds will showcase potential dates and create an RSVP indicator.

But what is imported to reminders sometimes requires a lot of cleaning. In one part of it is that I am making the habit of what is shared with the app and how to import it, but it makes me feel like Apple Intelligence in Reminds in Apple Intelligence can use a little polishing a little before the full software update in autumn.

iOS 26 Apple Intelligence: Not very good

Look, I’m not going to tell you how to feel about the image playground and genitals, the two current features of Apple Intelligence that achieve new abilities in iOS 26. If you see them useful in the useful, important parts of Apple’s suit of AI tools, this is great. However, I don’t, and none of the new iOS 26 additions has really changed my mind.

The biggest addition to the image playground is probably the ability to use Chat GPT to create images, which extends the number of styles available to you beyond the animation, example and sketch style you include. Taping in Chat GPT has proven to be very slow in the limited use of this feature, so I’m not really sure what it brings to the table other than disappointment. It is hoped that performance improves during the long son’s long beta process.

Now you can also create genitals in the image playground, and in a positive step for the image generation tool, you can add feedback to people and edit things like hairstyles. Basically, this is a more flexible app in iOS 26.

But there are limits to what my problem in the image playground you can do with the pictures you create. iOS 26 has increased the ability to convert these images into a background for chats in messages, but the range of image playground shape means that you are basically sharing these images with friends and not much.

Includes the ability to express genetics and change personal attributes. In iOS 26, you can connect the existing emoji into a genital. If any of this significantly improves your iPhone experience, I’m happy with you.

iOS 26 Apple Intelligence: which I have not yet experienced

There are some other additions to Apple Intelligence in iOS 26 that are worth considering, even if they have not disclosed myself in my time with the software update. Nevertheless, the presence of these new tools gives us some insights about how Apple thinks that more powerful AI can make some things easier for us on our phone.

For example, in the purse app, you will be able to track orders through Apple Intelligence. The Wallet app will be able to pull information from the emails sent to you by retailers and delivery companies so that you can see your order status at one place. I have not recently made a big purchase, so I can’t confirm how smooth it is, but it certainly looks hopeful.

The ability to make the pool in iOS 26 messages is not necessary to have a feature of Apple Intelligence – in fact, anyone capable of running iPhone iOS 26 can use the app’s new pool feature. But Apple has said that Apple Intelligence’s capable phones will detect when you want to vote and make suggestions on one. I have seen this in my group chats so far.

    iOS 26 Apple Intelligence Outlook

Standing against the snowfall of the new features that came at the beginning of the iOS18, the Apple intelligence rise reached by the iOS 26 is certainly not so many, though there are some important changes. Although the biggest change is a promise of a clever Siri, which is apparently on the way to the next year. Only then will we be able to say that if Apple’s initial AI efforts will end.
