When it comes to launchers, we are probably very uniform. I’ve been bouncing for years, trying everyone, I am excited about refreshments, and then when they didn’t offer anything new, it should be left down. I have paid for Pro Launches and tried to go with the lockdown stock launcher on the Google Pixel, but nothing was really stuck until the Smart Launcher 6.
My RedMajg 10 Pro is my current daily driver. However, its stock launcher is defined “good enough to get”. It works, but it’s a blend. I did what every Android owned by every Android and went to the launcher’s volatility. When I landed on Smart Launcher 6, I didn’t expect much. I had left it in the past, but this time, clicked on it. Now this is my launcher.

What is Smart Launcher 6?
The launcher is developed by a group called the Smart Launcher team, which is outside Italy. They have been on it since 2014 and have been able to somehow be completely independent and unmanageable. According to his website, the team is comprised of around 50 people around the world.
They make several interesting apps besides Smart Launcher 6. The icon pack is a studio, where you can design your icon pack. And one of my favorite drums is a drain station app that does nothing but provide a wonderful background.
Smart Launcher goes 6 different hits

The first thing I put on loading the launcher was the app. Smart Launcher 6 does not put all your apps in an endless list (one of Android’s curses). Instead, it automatically regulates them in communication, web, sports, productivity, and so on. If I like, I can create new varieties, but I am happy with the default setup.
The search bar allows me to look for everything from the web to the web on my device.
Then there is a smart search bar. The gods took some inspiration from the iOS here, as I could swipe below the screen and it would go to the search bar with some apps that I would like to use. The app’s suggestions were a bit of chaos at first, but after a few days to find out, the launcher became very accurate. The search bar allows me to look for everything from the web to the web on my device.

The smart launcher also learns what I use and when. I always open the pocket casts in the morning after my motorcycle ride and the launcher now suggests it for me. No need to open anything. Just tap and go.
These features won me

One of the features that surprised me was the left side of the news feed. It works a lot like an old Google Now tab. I am an annual Pro Subscriber and at the same time I can add my RSS feeds to the tab, and now when I swipe, I don’t get any ad.
Then there are popup widgets. I will be honest, I’ve never been older on the widget (especially on Android). I feel as if they look bad, disrupt the home screen, and there is no consistency between them. But Smart Launcher 6 has a smart solution. I can assign an app icon to the widget, and then double tap this app on my home screen so that the widget can be popped open. It is clean and amazingly useful. My calendar widget has been added to my calendar icon, and I have set the weather widget on the clock.
Special mention: Design aesthetics
Smart Launcher 6 visual design options deserve a special mention. Apple had given a frosting glass to the smart launcher before talking about “liquid glass”. It is subtle and modern. Also, the features such as adaptive icons, night backups, and an intuitive -specific panel make it a polished launcher.
Where it falls short

Nothing is perfect, and smart launcher 6 is not without its flaws. For starters, many of its best features are closed behind pro subscriptions. Thankfully, an annual all for me was cheap, about $ 30. I am happy to pay something I really use the USE, and I help with great apps maker teams.
It works right on my Red Magic Nova tablet, but it doesn’t wow me as if it is on my phone. It all works alike, but it doesn’t really benefit from this extra screen real estate. I think there is an opportunity to lose a company that actually takes care of Android tablets. This will really put them in a small minority of the launchers.
I am sticking with her

The next day I realized that I had not been looking for a new launcher in months. Smart launcher has been on my phone (and tablet) more than any other launcher in 6 years. It fits how I use my phone instead of force I force to change how to communicate with Android. I do not spend time with the icon pack or layout.
It is sharp and smart. This makes my daily routine smooth. Now I don’t have half a dozen launchers on my device as a backup. Smart Launcher 6 has the right to basic principles and my device has the right to convert it into a real smart tool. This is everything I want from the launcher.
