We reported the leak colors of the Pixel 10 series, including Monestone (a blue tone) and jade (a green color) will be the headline of this year’s palette. Pixel Watch 4 Google’s ecosystem has also been identified in the moonstone, suggesting a broader colorful strategy. Now, a product listing was seen at the Google Store, with the latest photos shown the Pixel Buds Pro 2 in the same Moonstone Hua. It also shows that Google intends to unite its device’s colorways, at least in its premium hardware.

Interestingly, the listing also mentions a new Obesidian variety for the Pixel buds Pro 2, which can change the current Hazel option. However, product images still show the Hazel version, which raises some doubts about whether it was a place holder or real change. So far, Google has removed both Monestone and Osidian from the site, and the previously removed the Winter Green model has returned – though it has been marked as “out of stock.”

This will not be the first time that Google shifted its equipment lineup to align with the colors of the flagship device. When the original pixel buds were launched in 2022, they were later updated with porcelain and colorless to meet Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. Now, it seems that Google is taking it a step further by harmonizing colors in phones, watches and airbids.
It is also worth noting that Apple follows a similar playbox, often compatible with its iPhones, air pods, and the Apple Watch band colors to offer smooth aesthetic. Samsung has also played the strategy with the colors of the galaxy buds that meet the Galaxy S and Z series phones.
With Pixel 10For, for, for,. Pixel Watch 4And possibly the start of the pixel buds 2A on August 20, we are expected to formally unveil a variety of this moonstone during the Google event. Whether or not Osidian has to be seen in Hazel.
Personally, I think that adding colorful consistency to pixel devices is a welcome move. This involves a sense of harmony for buyers who like the tech, and indicates that Google is thinking more comprehensively about its ecosystem. Nevertheless, they are shown that the company is still struggling with controlled product communication – even when the launch is just weeks away.
