Recently, Australia has launched its first Irus Rocket Skyward. However, at any time, it didn’t get too far. But the history is recorded in books. The country has launched its own orbit which was fully manufactured inside the country. Company Gilmour Space won the milestone on July 29, 2025, when it sent its first Irus rocket to the sky. It flown from the Boone Arbital Space Port of Queensland at 6pm to 35 minutes at 35 minutes at EDT (at 8:30 am local time in Australia).

    How did the failure?

As the elevator started off, Irsus could not get too far, and the rocket started sliding through the edge. It soon got up from the pad and in a period of 14 seconds, it crashed on the ground. The crash was compared to the third orbit launching by the Australian (California) in 2021. Although Gelmor’s place was not fully trusting in success.

Starting in February, the Gilmour company said, “Whether we remove it from the pad, reach Max Cue, or go to space, most importantly, every second of the flight will provide valuable data that will improve our rocket reliability and performance for future launches”. The important thing is that after the launch, he issued a statement stating that this is a huge step for the launch and his eyes are on it. Also, no injury was reported or other environmental effects during the launch.

Behind the curtain of orbit launch: Plan and executed

The orbit launch, which took place on July 29, 2025, had to be implemented in May. However, due to the tropical storm Alfred, Gelmor’s place had to postpone it. Immediately after the storm cleansing. Later, the company targeted the launch in mid -May, but could not proceed due to a technical problem, where the rocket’s pay -load fairing suddenly failed. As Gilmour’s place has said, this problem was caused by the increase of electricity.

After fixing technical issues, the company planned to launch again for June. But, since the place of Gilmor is running north of the city, the winds were not well fit, and due to the invasive weather, the launch was resumed later. Finally, in July, it went through the wind.

    To conclude

Gilmore space was founded by Adam Gilmour and James Gilmour. The purpose of this brother’s duo is to reach the heights in the space flight area. Not only is Ires of his attention, but he has also invented a satellite. The launch was a great effort for the country, and in 50 years such development was a major development.
