    tl; drag

    • Android auto still does not support the official YouTube app, but the New Pipe can now fill this gap.
    • The update allows you to access playlists, date and search from your car screen.
    • Of course, you will be able to see only while standing.

Android Auto has always been hard to see what types of apps are allowed, but Google is now deleting, and New Pipe is not wasting any time. Thanks to the latest app refreshing, the open source YouTube replacement now works on your car’s infotation screen.

In a blog post, the new pipe team says you can now browse your watch history, load playlists, or look for new content in Android Auto. Developers still request caution when using this feature, though Google already has guard rails to prevent you from engaging because you are traveling.

If YouTube seems familiar on Android Auto, this is because people are hacking ways to see streaming service everywhere in the car for a while. These tasks usually include third -party tools, such as car streams or screens filming their phone, but they usually suffer from slightly diminished and broken. This is an early example of video playback that is reaching the Android Auto’s official app support, which does not require any fraud.

This refreshment follows Google’s wider Google project to allow more apps on Android Auto. Video and browser apps are now officially on the roadmap, limited functionality in steep mode and an audio option coming to Android Automoto.

You won’t get a new pipe at the Play Store, but if you want to give it a spin, it is so easy to get from the project’s website or F -dried catalog.
