tl; drag
- The T -satellite is now officially available across the country, even for those without T -Mobile Service, but requires a phone call or personal trip to sign up.
- I decided to try to sign up, and my experience was smooth and professional as a whole, though others have reported a long wait or unaware representatives.
- I waited an hour or more, though half the time was due to my own mistake.
Recently, T -satellite officially got out of the beta and launched a nationwide nationwide for both existing T -Mobile users and other networks who just wanted to sign up for satellite service. As our de facto phone service expert, I immediately. He decided to check it.
Ever since I left the son, a colleague had already covered it, I wanted to see how it was now ready for prime time. Unfortunately, my first disappointment came when I found out the only way to sign up whether he was going to the T -Mobile store or calling the customer service.
Although the early beta can be fully configured online, it is not surprising that T -Mobile now wants more opportunities to promote you or to leave your current career. On the plus side, it also gives the reps the opportunity to better explain the requirements. Still, I am sure the app could handle it so easily.
Does anyone else sign up without a traditional T -Mobile service?

Don’t want to deal with the retail store experience, I decided to call them. As far as the setup call goes, it was really very smooth. I called early in the morning and was connected with a representative who could help me in about five minutes. I explained that I was a Verizon customer interested in a satellite.
The representative acknowledged that it was the first time to take over such a request, which thought I called the nationwide launch just one day after the official launch. Still, he did a good job and went through this process in about 30 minutes.
Unfortunately, I went to the end with the order on the order and was told that the only way to complete the order was to go to the store. As it turned out, it was a user mistake from me.
As I felt, as stupid as I felt, the spare phone revealed that I had already used its ESIM slot, though I took an oath that I re -set it up in the factory. Once I found out, I decided to try again with another representative through the phone system and finally settled matters after an additional 20-45 minutes or more.
Although it was easy to sign up online, I was impressed with the speed and information of both representatives, especially consider how new the product is. Certainly, the phone process is far longer than the app is likely to be signed up, but it was not a Dell breaker. It is also noteworthy that if I had done a bit better, I would not have to call.
I was also surprised that there was no strong pitch to switch from my current career. The two representatives once asked if I was interested in the T -Mobile Home Internet, but neither was it completely suppressed.
Is it really difficult? No, but it’s deliberately harder than me
The biggest thing is that signing up for a T -Mobile service is not as straightforward as it is, if you can do it yourself, it is not difficult at all, and for most parts, the experience was a good. Of course, not everyone will have the same story.
Raddators such as MTNX Freeride noted that long -awaited times and confused representatives are not trivial. It is really up to when you call and who you get. In my case, calling at the early days may have helped.
Considering is another potential problem. As the Reddate user Great Shazboot notes, the T -Set Plan may require a strict credit check. Although I could not directly confirm my credit report, I felt a recent rigorous inquiry. I cannot say that it comes from T -Mobile, but time shows a possibility.
If you are someone who tries to avoid stretching, definitely seek clarification before providing any personal information. I was not ready for this call as I should have thought of asking, though I would accuse the fact that it was 7:30 am. If I used to go to the store instead, I suspect that the process would go very differently, though the journey time would have been involved.
No one else sign up for a T -Satellite without a mobile service? Tell us how you experienced or if you got into any problem.
