After Tipped Q1, India’s smartphone market reached some record heights in Q2. Counterpoint research analysts report good news for every major company in the market.
The wholesale price increased by 18 % in Q2 compared to the same period last year, which is the highest price in Q2 so far. The ultra-premium segment-which is described as more than 45,000 phones-was a major driver behind the growing segment and strong Q2 results.
This also resulted in the average sales price (ASP) for all smartphones in the Indian market (ASP). Apple and Samsung managed to make the most of this.

Apple can celebrate the iPhone 16 as the highest shipment device in Q2. And that was not just that, this year Apple saw the highest delivery of its KE2 in India so far.
Royal Samsung’s wholesale price was the largest (23 %). Samsung is second in terms of units sent with strong demand from the Galaxy A and S series.
The top brand was through the units sent (except the IQOO). It transferred many phones in a range of 10,000- ₹ 15,000, mainly in Y and T series. The third Oppo (excluding OnePlus) comes with strong demand for A and Series phones.
One Plus recorded 75 % growth in the Ultra Premium class with 13 and 13R with 13R. Initial indications show that Patelite One Plus 13S will also be a hot seller. Meanwhile, the GT7 series, and especially Austin Martin F -One’s co -branded Realmi GT7 Dream Edition, spread to the ultra -premium segment, which attracted a lot of attention.

Motorola’s KG and Edge series pushed the company an 86 % increase in delivery, supporting the expansionist retail network. In the Sub -10,000 sub -class, Lava was the fastest growing brand, which increased by 156 % over the year. Counterpoint analysts credit the stock Android experience and improve the after -sales service for the brand’s success.
There was nothing as a whole. It is not the only brand to remove it and its shipment has increased by 146 % of Q2. In particular, the CMF phone 2 Pro is proving to be hit.
Finally, Medetic is the most popular chip set seller in India, with 47 % of the market. However, Qualcomm is chasing – it increased by 28 % throughout the year and Q2 was 31 %.
