Amazon Eco Show 5 (third general) in $ 90: This smart display is one and only fine option, but it is a very small that is an excellent display, and the added camera does not make it for the bed table. It is better to go with EcoSpat or Eco Dot above.
Amazon Eco Show 10 (third general) in $ 250: This smart display has a big sound, but its amazing shape makes it difficult to fit in your home without interruption. It is great that when you talk to him, it can follow you, but also weird. This is great if you have a large kitchen island, you always walk around, but not much. Note: It is currently out of stock but is expected to return soon.
Amazon Eco Show 15 (Second General) in $ 300: This smart display is a good display, but it clearly wants to double the status of TV and it is not very good yet. I am hoping that we will see better TV performance in the future to enable it to be added to the kitchen or office. It does a great job with the widget thanks to a large 15.6 -inch screen. Here are also the big Eco -show 21 ($ 400), which is basically the same thing but big.
Amazon Eco Studio for $ 200: Eco Studio Sound Quality Laur is our favorite Eco Speaker, but availability is limited – it was only in stock just a few days in July. Amazon did not confirm how stable her availability would be when asked.
Amazon Eco all for $ 130 all: This was our top lik, which could be paired with other Eco -Speaker to add some bosses to your jam sessions. Amazon has begun to start a new and better Alexa called Alexa+. This is available for free now in the initial access, though you have to join the waiting list and wait to be selected. I had to check Alexa+ on my Eco Show devices (which are just the devices you can use on Alexa+ during the initial access), and this has been a very positive experience. I like the latest, more conversation sound, and Alexa+ did a good job in response to all kinds of questions. During the test, I thought everything was our early access to our early access.
Alexa+ made some changes, even for those who do not use it. It is important to send all the sound recording to the Amazon which is taken. Amazon turns its features into wholesale – now regularly go to Amazon with Alexa. Here was a “Don’t Send Voice Recording” Privacy feature that you can choose to take action locally, but according to an email sent to existing users of this feature, this feature was killed on March 28, 2025.
There is no timeline yet when the initial access will and the final version will expire. Once the initial access is available, Alexa+ will be available for $ 20 monthly, or if you have Amazon prime membership. Although you have a membership if you have added an Alexa device to your home, this is a big jump from previously free assistant. What’s the difference between Eco and Eco Show?

How do you remove advertising and spam from Eco Show?
If you are using the Eco Show Device, you have probably noticed that there is a default content that will show you. Scores of sports! Local news! A prescription you are interested in! It makes the device tired and annoying.
This is how you can control what you see:
- Swipe below the upper part of your Eco Show to pull the menu, and select the settings.
- In the menu of the Settings, choose the home content.
- On this menu you are above 40 that you can on and off, and you should remove more and more that you cannot use. I usually remove everyone except the weather forecast and play audio recently.
Although you are able to close interest -based ads with third -party skills (this is under the privacy of Alexa in the Settings menu), it will not be able to stop all ads. The sequence that is free from advertising is to choose a photo display mode, which can use Amazon’s library of photos or your own library. The negative aspect is that it has turned it into a digital photo frame, so you will not even see the features like watch or widget.
Can I take action locally on my Alexa requests, or they have to go into the cloud?
Here was a privacy feature called Dope Dono Recording, which causes you to be sent to Amazon’s cloud storage instead of all your sound requests locally acting on your Alexa device. This feature was killed in March 2025 to support Alexa+, and even if you continue to use the old Alexa, you do not have access to this feature.
Alexa+ is still only in the early access, and you can just join the weightlist and wait to be selected.
