Microsoft’s authentic users who have not yet intended to turn into a new procedure are expiring: The app will turn off storage, management, savings and auto -filing passwords this Friday, August 1st.

Microsoft has been sending messages for weeks that indicates his plan to go to Paskey’s procedure. Until June, users were no longer able to add passwords, and by July, the auto -fell function was closed. Starting in August, users will be unable to access their saved passwords unless they reach them to the Microsoft Age.

However, as CNET reports, Pasky’s procedure is widely accepted because the next step can be easily estimated by a very secure option – passwords can be easily estimated by a fashing or brutal force, stored on servers, and is often used in the first place or in the first place.

As an alternative, like Passey fingerprints or facial identities, they are only available on a personal device and they do not need to remember. Users do not need to use a password manager to detect dozens of unique, strong passwords for each account.

Microsoft is providing secure sign -in for authentic application mobile accounts, which requires multi -factor verification, such as push notifications, less login than password, time -based one -time passwords or biometric verification. This allows users to sign into Microsoft accounts using other biometric data such as Pin, Facial Identity (such as Windows Hello) or fingerprint.

The Microsoft Support Page explains that saved passwords (not the date of the password) are securely synchronized to your Microsoft account, so users can access them and use auto functionality with Edge.

In a blog post on May 1, Microsoft elaborated on the switch over instructions on the instructions for users, saying that it would automatically configure users with its best Passkey options and make it their default option.

“If you have a password and ‘one -time code’, we will signal to sign in with your time -time code instead of your password. After you sign in, you will be indicated to enroll in Passey. Then the next time you sign in, you will be indicated to sign in with your packet.”

You can open an authentic app on your phone and set up a new passenger, tap on your account, select ‘Packe Sort’, then log in with your current credentials. Once you are logged in, you can configure Paski.
