Microsoft’s phone link is the nearest (and extremely reliable) to create a continuation like apple between your Android phone and Windows PC. The app already allows you to view your phone notifications, messages, and media, take calls, and share files between the two devices. However, the Android device finds limited functionality, which Microsoft can now want to change.
On the Android Side, Microsoft’s Windows app links to the terminal to make and manage cross -device connectivity features. Since it’s already famous, with more than a billion downloads on the Play Store, Microsoft can improve its service by adding features that enable PC remote control from the mobile device.
Microsoft has recently announced an important update in the Windows app link. The update has introduced new features, including the ability to lock your Windows PC from an attached phone, check battery and Wi -Fi status, such as vitals, or to cast your phone screen without interacting with the PC app. These features were previously seen in Windows’ giant channels and is now being manufactured for more users through broader internal channels.
Along with these improvements, the Windows link can now be used to send files directly, without having to rely on Android’s share sheet. What is more interesting is that the Windows app link will now allow you to see recent files and access your computer clipboard on your phone. Android app is also getting a latest interface, as seen below:
Microsoft is not yet operating on the stable channels of Windows 11, and you have to use one of the internal construction to enjoy them. As an alternative, you can sign up to become Windows internal. In addition, you will need to scroll down on the app to sign up for a beta for a Windows link on the Play Store, as you are running the app version 1.25071.155 on your phone.
Finally, once you complete these requirements, go to, go Windows Settings> Bluetooth & Equipment> Mobile Devices> Manage Devices On your computer, select your Android device, and enable the desired toggle required to access new features on your phone.
