Answer? According to Mushroom Mushroom expert Wayne Delney, “many edible mushrooms, such as shete and oyster, have some biochemological compounds that are anti -fungal, anti -microbial and insects.”
When I first heard about making mushroom spray, I thought it was beautiful … tasty. Although for insects, mushrooms contain “enzymes, phenolics, and bitter tasting compounds that repel insects like pests and lashes.”

As described briefly, a mushroom has some characteristics that hit insects such as Afods, slugs, and lazy Hate is. But, not all mushrooms.
Some cookies can be converted into a natural spray that prevents AFDs because, according to Delney: “When the surface of the plants is sprayed on the surface and the surrounding soil, the surface remnants and unfamiliar fragrance confuse them, and indicates that the plant is invasive.” (I wish someone would do it on chocolate for me).
He explains that you can also find a specific fungus growing in your home back, called antivatives mushrooms. ‘Antomo’ means insects and ‘pathogenic’, and these are mushrooms that can biologically kill insects instead of choosing chemical pests.
What is even better, Delney explains: “Although they are able to control insects, they do not harm insects that are beneficial – such as flies, butterflies, or lady birds – and they are completely safe for humans, pets and birds.”
Fortunately, you can also choose these mushrooms at your local garden center or online. And you may already have some home because your local grocery store has daily edible mushrooms.
Oyster, sheet, buttons or white mushrooms and King Oster mushrooms can all serve as pests effective.

Oyster mushrooms are especially good for targeting sluggs, slow, opids and green fly because they contain “enzymes and toxins that can digest soft physical insects and small insects”.
Shetty mushrooms are perfect for caterpillar, aphods and green fly, thanks to their anti -microbial properties.
Button or white mushrooms target green fly and aphods, but work better as a base or filler for domestic spray, which is used alongside other mushrooms to create a strong obstruction.
And, King Oyster mushrooms are for your garden sluggs and slows when they repel soft-body insects with their semi-sprinkled poisonous toxins.
Make your spray
Whatever mushrooms you choose, you will need a blender (and we will now recommend some of the best blenders in the market), Cheescloth or Fine Mesh strainer, a jug and a spray bottle.
In addition, if you want to bulk your natural pesticides with some extra properties, there are some extra things you can use like peppermint oil, danny, garlic squeeze or semi -oil.
This is how you make a natural mushroom spray for your garden:
- Place your mushrooms in a blender or food processor with water
- Mix until smooth
- Press the mixture through a item cloth or fine mesh strainer to remove the lump
- Here, if you like, you can add the extras
- Add more water if needed, put this mixture into a spray bottle
- Stir well before use
- Sprinkle directly on the leaves, trunks and bases of your plants
- Repeat every few days, or if it rains

Although mushrooms will deal with your affidavit problem, they will also deal with other insects such as Silgus, Slow, Green Fills, White Flies, Caterpillar and Beetle Larva.
Therefore, even if you do not have the biggest problem in the ophs garden, your natural mushroom spray can work to prevent other insects simultaneously.
And, if you have purchased a multi -pack of spray bottles, there is no reason why you cannot make your home a arm with vinegar spray to get rid of the ant problem or spray the garlic spray to control natural pests.
