- Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 owners complain that they will not be properly compensated on Samsung’s wireless charging pad.
- This problem is from a default strap, which prevents the clock from lying flat on the wireless charger pair.
- The included magnetic puck charger works well, but consumers are disappointed with government accessories poorly.
Samsung has clearly affected Many people with the Galaxy Watch 8, including us. However, Tech Dev has ignored the very basic factor of wearing design. It is all good and good to advance the engineering limits with hardware, but fans can protest if the smart watch does not sit on its charging pad.
Getting a redidate post on R/Galaxy Watch shows how 44 mm Galaxy Watch 8 is not flat on its wireless charger pair of Samsung. It has come down badly with consumers, considering the refund with the opening poster which they have called “stupid” design supervision.
Redded user Luxki Vocker shows us the problem.
Many of the thread consumers joined in the removal of Samsung, hitting and roasting. Some people compared it to Apple’s magic mouse charging defeat, but even there were also real concerns about slow charging speed and heat. One commentator suggested that the Powermen from Samsung phones also do not work reliably.
My brother in Christ, this is the level of charging the surface of the magic mouse.@tuhyk_inside to Reddit
The Galaxy Watch 8 strap design was not clearly made with this wireless charging pad, or anyone that sits relatively flat on some surface, in mind. In particular, the default rubber band rotates faster, preventing the clock from relaxing the pad and charging the hit or the Miss case.
Some users recommended work, such as bending the strap inside or turning into a hybrid or fabric band, but many are disappointed that a new watch will not be properly compensated on the brand’s hardware.
In defense of Samsung, the Galaxy sees 8 ships with a magnetic pickup charger that does not need to stay flat. However, this is another wire to add to the mixture.
