Often, once a friendship or even a romantic connection has been established, you will be asked for money. Your new contact may be in a little trouble, finance, and it just needs an immediate loan. Or maybe they may have got a great opportunity for you, though you will need to work very soon to take advantage of it.

First and foremost, you need to look for any kind of unexpected contact on the messaging app. You think it’s easy to find a place, but the fraudsters (and they are very good to convince what they use). They can even present photos and videos to help prove that they are what they say they are.
Remember that the people you are talking about have probably done their homework on you. They can claim to be a friend of what you really know, or be part of an organization you used to voluntarily use, so that you can find more reliable. You must definitely check any such claim twice.
Ideally, do not respond at all, as it will mark you for future scam attacks. If you feel that this message may be real – people get the data wrong, finally – as much check as you can possibly do before answering. For example, if it is related to something to work, check your colleagues around.
If you are taken by the first message, it should be easy to find this scam with the development of the exchange. At the other end of the conversation, boats and people will try to add you to chatting, probably asking questions or probably sharing photos and videos. When the FBI has warned, there will be any attempt to seize money or data.
Whenever you realize that you are being targeted by scammers, stop answering. In the United States, you can send messages to 7726 to report them as fraud. You can also prevent future messages from number: in Google Messages on Android, tap on three dots (top right in chat) Block and report spam. In messages on the iPhone, tap the header in the upper part of the chat, then Information And Block collar.
