Google is now expanding its latest video generation model, VEO 3 in its Gemini application programming interface (API). On Thursday, Mountain View -based Tech Dev highlighted that VEO 3 developers will now be available with Gemini API, and they will be able to connect this capacity into apps and create new apps around it. The company also announced the prices of VEO3, which has been kept higher than the predecessor. Currently, developers can access the video generation model in API through Google AI studio.
Developer can now access VEO 3 via API
In a blog post, Tech Dev announced the extension of VEO 3 on Gemini API. API can be accessed through Google AI studio, and the platform also offers it as a software development kit (SDK) template and interactive star app. In particular, the API will only be available to developers, which has a payment membership or accurate API key.
By pricing, the VEO 3 AI model is priced at 75 0.75 (about Rs 65 65) per second for video and audio output. This means that producing an eight -second long video will cost a developer $ 6 (about Rs 520), and in a minute long video they will need to pay a total of $ 45 (about Rs 3,900). In particular, its predecessor, VEO 2, was priced at $ 0.5 (about Rs 43 43).
Google is also planning to release Gemini API, the fast and cheap version of the AI model, VEO 3 Fast, fast and cheap version. However, there is no word about it when it arrives. With VEO 3, developers can produce 720p resolution and 24 FPS videos in 16: 9 format. Audio will also be prepared locally in these videos.
Specifically, Tech Dev said he would continue to add digital santhad watermark with every AI infield video to ensure that it is not used to spread misinformation or make deep faxes.
VEO 3 was first unveiled in Google I/O 2025. The AI model was then evacuated to Google AI Pro (before Gemini Advanced) and Google AI Ultra users. The capacity is not available for those at the independent level of Gemini.
