The World Emoji Day takes place on July 17 every year as this is the day that is on the calendar emoji. This year, the Unicode Consortium-A non-profit that is dedicated to developing, maintaining and promoting software standards and data-used this day to declare the latest emoji. The next emoji, which includes Sascoich and another, will debut as part of Unicode 17.0 in September.

Unicode consortium wrote online, “These new emoji have a long symbolic meaning, they are visually specific and include a large number of expression.”
According to Unicode, data files for these emoji will be made available this fall as part of Unicode 17.0. Then, Amoji will likely appear on your device in the spring 2026.
